    OMS Specialist – PSM & Asset Integrity

    Job Description

    • The Operating Management System (OMS) Specialist – PSM & Asset Integrity will coordinate all PSM & Asset Integrity OMS elements on behalf of all Astron Energy BUs with 60% of the time supporting the Refinery and the balance to supporting the rest of the BUs.

    The duties will include the following:

    Accountable for closing PSM & Asset Integrity Assurance OMS gap closure actions, related to:

    • PSM/Technical Safety
    • Integrity & Maintenance
    • Engineering lifecycle
    • Operating Risk Management
    • Management of Change
    • Develop an overall OMS change management plan.
    • Where required, serve as sub-element owner for Astron Energy.
    • Coordinate PSM & Asset Integrity standard deviation management.
    • Review and rewrite (where necessary) all procedures to align with the PSM & Asset Integrity OMS elements.
    • Develop and conduct BU PSM & Asset Integrity OMS training.
    • Conduct BU self-verifications (Tier 1) and support BUs with Tier 2/3 audit preparation including Engineering barrier assurance.

    In addition, the team will support the following initiatives:

    • Document Management System (CDMS) update project. Approximately 5000+ documents for the Refinery which requires review and alignment with OMS.
    • DRR action close out, 23 actions
    • Operational discipline gameplan

    Professional Qualification and Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Similar relevant Degree,
    • 5 years experience in Operations, Technical, Reliability, Maintenance or SHEQ field in the oil and gas industry.

    Work Experience:

    • Experience with refinery operations, maintenance execution, technical, reliability, or process safety.
    • Experience in developing procedures and developing training.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within the organisation.
    • Familiar with the MHI & PER regulations.

    Knowledge and skills:

    • Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent English communication, presentation and report writing skills.
