Millwright - Bloemfontein at Country Bird Holdings Ltd (CBH)

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Relevant qualification (Red-seal certificate)
• Drivers' license & own transport.
• High voltage certificate would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Millwright role in a Poultry environment would be beneficial

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical and mechanical, but not limited to plumbing, ground maintenance, vehicle check, fault finding and routine inspection.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring and lighting systems.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues, using appropriate testing device.
• Repair and replace equipment or fixtures.
• Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning system and various test equipment.
• Manage and work according to schedule and deadlines.
• Organize and supervise maintenance team activities/tasks.
• Ensure high quality working standards in the maintenance department.
• Compliant to all strict bio-security protocols and procedures.
• Compliant to all applicable health & safety standards.
• Candidate should be willing to work flexible hours and weekend including standby and callouts when the need arises.
• Attend to HR/IR matters i.e. (leave plan of maintenance department, time sheets, instituting discipline etc.)
