    Nurseries Manager

    Your mission

    • Reporting to the Nurseries Manager, the incumbent will assist with coordinating the Mondi production nurseries' financial, safety, and plant supply chain roles.
    • Obtain quotes for purchase orders and ensure correct G/L allocation when creating them.
    • Create and manage purchase orders on SAP.
    • Process invoices and submit them to the invoice processing department for payment.
    • Assist with all supplier and invoice queries.
    • Reconcile open orders and outstanding invoices.
    • Assist with monthly stock take and capture stock movements on SAP.
    • Capture all dispatch notes.
    • Process credit notes monthly.
    • Maintain a database of all sales and tray returns.
    • Create purchase orders with external nurseries based on plant orders from the Nurseries Manager.
    • Verify prices and quantities of each quote against plant orders.
    • Update the plant supply chain database monthly.
    • Scribe and file monthly Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) meeting minutes.

    Your profile

    • Diploma or Degree in Office Administration or similar equivalent commercial qualification
    • One year experience in handling purchase orders, processing invoices, managing stock, and maintaining various databases.
    • Sound knowledge working on SAP
    • High level of Computer literacy – MS Office
    • High levels of organizational and administration skills essential
    • Valid driver’s license

    Financial Account

    Your mission:

    • Perform month end activities
    • HFM uploads
    • SAP processing of adjustments
    • Capital spares accounting and analysis with processing of adjustments
    • Management of IFRS 16 leases database and lease accounting 
    • Assistance with specific month end reporting activities including:
    • Lease reporting
    • HR headcount statistics
    • Capital spares reporting
    • Depreciation variance analysis
    • Co-ordinate and prepare Fixed Asset and Leases forecasting and Budgeting
    • Manage fixed asset and tax asset accounting and register including capitalization, depreciation/wear and tear and impairment review and accounting
    • IFRS and technical support 
    • Preparation of statutory reporting packs
    • Assistance in preparation of annual financial statements
    • Assistance in year-end audit activities
    • Continuous improvement initiatives to ensure more time focused on value-add activities
    • Ad hoc financial accounting tasks

    Your profile:

    • BCom Accounting degree with Honours
    • Completion of SAICA Articles will be advantageous
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant preferably within a manufacturing environment
    • Must have experience in IAS 16 and IFRS 16
    • Microsoft packages, with advanced excel
    • SAP and HFM experience will be an advantage
