Medical Receptionist - Glen Marais at Intercare Group South Africa

• Intercare Glen Marais Medical and Dental Centre situated in Kempton Park seeks to recruit for a Medical Receptionist. The focus of this position is to provide professional customer service by assisting the medical health professionals with administrative support.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and schedule doctor’s training and meetings with pharmaceutical companies.
• Schedule standard and referral appointments for patients according to established procedures.
• Direct all customers to the appropriate location, services and appropriate professional.
• Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy.
• To refer all emergency cases to the nurses station without delay.
• Coordinate and manage patient flow in the medical waiting area.
• Manage the flow of patient files to and from professionals.
• Monitor the use of supplies and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Previous experience in a medical practice environment essential
• Computer proficiency (MS Office)
• Working knowledge of GoodX will be advantageous
