    L&D Leadership Specialist

    Job Description

    The Key Purpose of this role is to drive leadership capability development across Africa Zone in support of our strategic talent development plan that is aimed at developing, growing and retaining great people needed for future organic and inorganic growth.

    Key Role and responsibilities:

    • Partner with the Global L&D to provide inputs in shaping the global leadership development strategy, plans and offerings 
    • Create the Africa Zone enterprise development plan in alignment with global strategy/plans and emerging business needs 
    • Liaise with Global, Zone and BU stakeholders to support the roll-out of leadership development initiatives across Africa 
    • Design and roll-out targeted and scalable development interventions for zone needs to complement the global plan
    • Implement various learning methods like in-person training, virtual sessions, coaching, mentoring programs etc. to cater to diverse needs and preferences.
    • Utilize learning management systems and other digital tools to facilitate online learning, resource access, communication and streamline tracking and reporting
    • Set clear KPIs and regularly measure the effectiveness and impact of the development programs through surveys, feedback sessions, and performance tracking to identify areas for improvement
    • Analyze data to gain insights into efficacy and impact of development programs and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve the programs
    • Partner with PBPs and people leaders to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and information they need to support the development phase of our talent planning process
    • Manage leadership development budgets and other resources in an efficient fashion
    • Identify opportunities to outsource leadership capability development and partner with universities and other accredited institutions

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Qualification in HR or relevant (ideally in learning and development)
    • 5+ years' experience in L&D
    • FMCG experience advantages
