HR Intern - 12 Months Contract (JHB) at Commission for Gender Equality

Responsibilities
Key Performance Area

•  Assist with general office duties/dealing with HR related queries.
•  Resolve issues relating to benefits (completion of the medical & pension fund
• documentation - registration of dependents, nomination of beneficiaries, medical
• cancellations)
•  Develop and Maintain HR Compliance Knowledge
•  Regularly update HR information databases.
•  Send job offer letters to the candidate / agency.
•  Assist with coordinating the selection and recruitment process.
•  Assist with completing termination letters and forms (UI19, Record of service)
•  Handling of recruitment mailbox and capture received applications

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in HR or equivalent.
•  Knowledge and understanding of the BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA and other labour related Acts and regulations.
•  Must be a South African citizen.
•  Strong verbal and written communications skills.
•  Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
•  Ability to work under pressure.
•  Attention to details.
•  Ability to maintain confidentiality.
