Key Purpose of the role The Business Analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. Translating those system requirements into functional specifications that are used by developers to craft a technical solution. Ensure High-Level testing is done against the requirements to make sure that the solution is solving the needs addressed and gathered during the analysis phase. The Business Analyst may be asked to participate in creating User Acceptance Test Scripts. The Business Analyst is a critical liaison between the Project Manager and the Technical teams and is expected to work across multiple business areas and teams to support the Group’s shared value model.
