    Assistant Junior Dairy Parlour Manager - Kokstad

    Our client is looking for an Assistant Junior Dairy Parlour Manager to join the team.

    Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

    This position would suit a single person due to accommodation on the farm.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    •  Agricultural Diploma / Degree highly advantageous
    • Min of 3 years previous dairy experience
    • Experience in cattle management
    • Must have knowledge of milk parlour equipment and farm machinery
    • Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous
    • Being mechanically/maintenance orientated is advantageous
    • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage and oversee milk parlour employees – training, work schedules, checking employees are doing their work efficiently
    • Caring for fresh or sick cows
    • Assisting in vet checks & vaccinations etc.
