Tractor Operator - Johannesburg South at Rand Water

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4.
• Code 08 driver’s license and the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 drivers test.
• 2 years experience- using a broad range of agric/ horticulcural implements & tractor drawn equipment.
• 3 year  experience with tractor.
• Able to pass Rw K53 test.

Primary Duties

• Weeding, loading and sweeping
• Applying fertilizers, insecticides & fungicides
• Use of specialized horticultural equipment, including lawnmowers & brush cutters
• General cleaning
• Driving to site to carry out work independently
• Undertake Senior Gardener work when no tractor work is available

Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of fire fighting.
• Basic knowledge of first Aid.
• Basic SHE knowledge on all related functions.
