Purpose Statement

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for card management and transaction switching systems.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define system requirements and business goals.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.

Experience

• At least 5 years’ relevant end to end design and development experience
• Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and business process modeling.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols.
• Experience in cloud computing environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps practic
• 3- 5 years’ experience working proven knowledge of and experience with Card Management Systems
• Proficient with Amazon Web Services
• Linux Server
• Card Management/Transaction Switching Systems
• SQL Server/Postgres/Oracle
• C#/Java
• Familiar with containerization technologies
• A thorough understanding of PCI DSS and ISO8583

Qualifications
Minimum

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Ideal or Preferred

• A relevant qualification in Information Technology

• UML or equivalent modelling language
• Technical Test Plan Design
• IT systems development processes
• Application development

Solid understanding of:

• Bank’s systems environment
• Bank business model
• Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
• Object Orientated Development environment (i.e. Java, Spring Framework, JBoss)
