Key Job Outputs:

Financial Management

• Day-to-day accounting systems/transactions monitored and reviewed: General Ledger, GRIR Account, Debtors, Fixed Assets, Bank, Payroll, Charges Recoverable, Taxation
• Reconciliation of Intercompany Customer, Supplier and Loan accounts
• Intercompany confirmations
• Intercompany revenue schedules
• Journals prepared.
• General Ledger reconciliations compiled.

Reporting and Audits

• Input to monthly and annual audit packs prepared.
• Quarterly report packs compiled.
• Year-end preparation and Year-end Audit deliverables
• Assist with the compilation of Annual Financial Statements

Budgets and Forecasts

• Annual budgets and quarterly forecasts prepared.
• Internal Controls
• Internal controls implemented and monitored.

Knowledge, skills, and attributes:

• SAP experience is required (2 years of experience working of the following modules: FI, AR, and AP)
• Microsoft Office packages
• Microsoft excel – advanced level.
• High degree of current technical accounting and taxation knowledge
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• High regard for accuracy
• Detail conscious
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to apply initiative, good judgement, and creative thinking.
• Good business acumen
• Ability to work under pressure and be deadline driven.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• B. Comm (Accounting) Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the Fishing or FMCG environment
