Job description

Purpose of the role:

• To manage, facilitate and validate all IT incidents, problems and changes.
• Coordinating the escalation, communication and resolution of all incidents and problems, which affect the business.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification
• Preferred, ITIL Foundation qualification
• 5 years’ experience within an IT environment
• Proven experience in escalation process, incident management and problem solving
• General business operations experience

Ideal:

• A thorough understanding of IT Production, Operations, Banking, Call Centre and Infrastructure and Technical environments
• Previous experience as an Application or Infrastructure support specialist or as a developer
• Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial services
• Experience with vendor management, reporting and negotiations
• Communication skills (written and verbal) in English
