    Group Revenue Manager

    Job description

Presently, an opportunity exists to join our Head Office in Newlands, Cape Town as Group Revenue Manager. The ideal candidate will have the ability and experience to lead the revenue team driving total revenue optimisation for the Group.

    The Revenue Department is part of a larger team comprising of Digital Marketing, Marketing, Public Relations, Revenue and Sales.

    We offer:

    The key deliverables are:

    • Developing and implementing the long term revenue management strategy for the group
    • Developing and implementing short term revenue improvement plans for the group
    • Responsible for total revenue optimisation across rooms, banqueting and F&B
    • Monthly forecasting across all segments
    • Preparing and implementing the annual pricing strategy as well as management and distribution of all rates and rate codes
    • Negotiate, contract and manage the channel distribution network and associated 3rd party partnerships
    • Providing competitor intelligence and benchmarking
    • System maintenance and improvement in operational and revenue management solutions
    • Provides revenue analytics for the business to enable effective decision making
    • Leading, managing and develop the centralised revenue team.
    • Effectively deliver a centralised service to operations team

    Education and experience:

    • Hospitality revenue management qualification
    • 3 year hospitality or business qualification
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in revenue management
    • Excellent Opera and iDeas skills
    • At least 3 years’ experience managing a team of revenue managers
    • Excellent computer skills (Excel advanced)
