    Senior HR Practitioner

    Job Description

    To coordinate and Implement HR processes policies and procedures within a business area according to clearly defined corporate control and regulations.

    CONTEXT

    • The increased need to be customer focused in order to ensure that HR is viewed as a strategic business partner
    • The need to keep up-to- date with changes in relevant legislation and to understand the impact thereof on the business
    • The need to be aware of new development in respect of information technology e.g. implementation of SAP HR
    • The need to have all encompassing portfolio in order to deliver effective HR support
    • The need to be aware of the impact of organisational restructuring and change management
    • The increased need to be prepared and understand the impact of HIV/Aids on HR related processes
    • The need to comply with the information, communication and Technology charter at all times

    ROLES

    • Implement staffing policies and procedure
    • Advise and apply termination procedures
    • Implement Employee Relation policies and procedures
    • Implement Training and Development policies and procedures
    • Implement change management processes
    • Facilitate Performance Management and Career Development
    • Implement remuneration accordingly to set policy
    • Advise and assist Line Managers in implementing HR Best Practice
    • Contribute to improving organisational culture and climate
    • Contribute to designing and developing Human Resource Strategies and policies
    • Review Plans and processes to ensure a safe and a healthy work environment

    Desired Skills and Experience
    Educational Background

    • Grade 12 plus a National Diploma or a Degree in HR/ Humanities, NQF Level 5.

    Previous Experience:

    • 3 - 5 years relevant HR experience preferably with exposure to all HR Disciplines
