    Account & Business Development Manager.Sales & Distribution.OMSA

    Job description

    Brief Description

    This role is based in Gauteng. The Business Development Manager sustains the growth of the Old Mutual Worksite business by acquiring and activating new accounts within the retail affluent market.

    KRA's

    • Market Strategy Development
      • Liaise with sales and marketing teams in order to identify potential markets, in both the private and public sectors.
      • Present our CVP to potential markets
    • Account Acquisition
      • Present a professional view of OMSA to all accounts
      • Responsible for the effective communication of our CVP
      • Act as lead negotiator with regards to signing up regional/national clients
      • Determine and communicate the size of new opportunities in terms of APE to the relevant stakeholders
    • Account Activation
      • Influence the allocation of Financial Advisers to clients by communicating client needs to all internal stakeholders
      • Align resource allocation in relation to clients “share of wallet”.
      • Drive collaboration amongst internal stakeholders with the view of increasing value add to all clients
    • Stakeholder Management
      • Act as the key interface between new accounts and all relevant internal stakeholders.
    • Account Management
      • Responsible for the overall compliance with regional and national MOU’s by all internal stakeholders.
      • Review client requirements on an ongoing basis for all existing regional and national clients.
      • Report on progress made against set targets to all stakeholders with regards to the following on an ongoing basis:
      • Acquisition of new accounts
      • Activation of new accounts
      • Extraction of APE

    Job Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • Relevant tertiary qualification.
    • FAIS compliance.
    • Experience in account management with institutional clients an advantage.
