    Junior Office Administrator/ HR

    Job description

    Requiremets

    Human Resources:

    • Manage and facilitate all HR Administrator operations including SETA reporting, staff wellness days and employee leave management
    • Manage annual employee performance evaluation procedures
    • Run new employee onboarding including workstation setup, scheduling training sessions, access cards and familiarizing new hires with company policies and procedures
    • Develop new ideas to improve overall employee job satisfaction and happiness
    • Maintain human resource records and process paperwork for all employees
    • Create, maintain, and update both electronic and hard copy candidate and employee files
    • Participate in the creation of or amending of personnel policies, job descriptions, and department procedures as required
    • Assists with the coordination of special projects and company events, including benefits enrolment, recognition events, performance appraisals, training, company events, etc.

    Office Management:

    • Orientation/benefits training for new and existing employees
    • Coordination of office operations and plan team builders/ office events across the group
    • Manage relationships with building manager; cleaning, maintenance, and repair companies
    • Work with relevant Managers to ensure the security of the office by managing the security system, scheduling repairs of locks, and managing building access cards
    • Procure equipment and supplies for all office supplies including stationary and hardware and drink/snack/supplies
    • Research and procure quotes from new vendors and service providers as necessary
    • Coordinate with IT support for the installation and maintenance of all on site computer systems
    • Work with Finance Team to manage end of month expense accounts including invoices and credit card reconciliation
    • Assist Directors with admin (as requested)
    • Distribute company mail as needed

    Qualifications

    • At least three years of experience working in an HR / Office Management role
    • Experience recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Attention to Detail
    • Extremely strong organizational skills including the ability to multitask
    • Ability to work in a faced paced, quickly changing environment
    • Strong computer skills, including experience working with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
    • ability to learn, self-train, and execute new administrative tasks
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with all organizational roles
    • Ability to take ownership of projects and be proactive about suggestions to improve process
