    Job Description
    • Prepare all export documents, i.e. commercial invoice, road manifest, frame entry through EDI
    • Work with the Operations department and transporter to co-ordinate the loads and ensure no delays are caused with regards to documents

    • If SARS were to stop / detain any shipment, the issues must be solved with SARS ASAP on own initiative.
    • Extremely admin intensive – handle the entire export and excise acquittal process from start to finish
    • Be accountable for files not acquitted with SARS timeously – this affects the company cash flow
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Receive instructions from transporter once truck is loaded at the depot
    • Prepare commercial invoice, road manifest, frame entry through Compu-Clear
    • VOC’s must be kept at a minimal level
    • Must pay attention to detail because this will affect the DA66 submission
    • Must work closely with Operations and with the transporters to avoid any delays in movement of trucks
    • Knowledge of the Asycuda system and requirements for the EDI link between SARS and Asycuda.
    • Understand the importance of using the correct tariffs (Harmonised Tariff book) and the implications involved for errors
    • Understand rebates / rebates codes per product
    • Be able to work in a highly pressurized environment

    • Finance
    Education
    • Bachelor: Finance (Required)
    Skills
    • Computer literacy: Microsoft Office applications, Excel skills, Good communication skills and attention to detail,
    • Good with figures,
    • Self-driven and autonomous working style, Tax/Legal/Finance Risk Assessment Oriented
    Languages
    • English
