    Business Development Executive

    Job description

    Min requirements:

    • Relevant degree or diploma
    • 5 years plus and applicable experience Senior Level

    Knowledge and understanding of the following is essential:

    • Understanding of telecommunications industry
    • Extensive Business Development experience
    • Regulatory bodies
    • Ability to close large deals and /or tenders
    • People leadership Skills
    • Articulate and well groomed
    • Prepaid electricity experience

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    a) Sales Strategy and Marketing

    • Understanding of Industry
    • Understanding of Competitiors
    • Monitor regulatory changes
    • Develop and provide input to marketing material
    • Develop a 'seamless' launching strategy with no reduction in service delivery

    b)Business Development

    • Propose 'fit for purpose' solutions
    • Preparation of tender documents -Submission, Attend briefing meetings, Follow-up
    • Close large deals
    • Evaluate and sort out problems
    • escalate id required
    • Ensure effective resolutions - follow-up and feedback

    c)Client Retention , service and Collaboration

    • Sustain client relationships
    • Ensure planned social interactions are taking place (sports events etc)
    • Ensure actively involved in customer relations (golf days)
    • effective client retention maintained
    • Minimum client cancellations
