The Purpose Of The Position Is

To deliver quality decision support solutions in Business Intelligence environment in an effective and timeous manner.

Educational & Experience Requirements

• 3 year Degree/Diploma or equivalent
• 5 year Business Analysis experience
• 3-5 years Data Analysis experience
• 3-5 years experience using Business Intelligence tools

You Will Be Required To Do The Following

• Business Relationship:
• Analyse and understand the current business environment.
• Analyse and understand the current business strategies.
• Understand the current trends and developments in the industry.
• Liaise with business on regular basis to coordinate initiatives, provide feedback, highlight risks and discuss issues.
• Solution Development:
• Works closely with system analysts and project manager to design and implement decision support solutions.
• Analyse the available data in the data warehouse to determine how best to utilise it in the proposed solution.
• Identify and document data requirements from source systems if the data is not currently available in the data warehouse.
• Provide input on alternatives presented by the technical designers and answer detailed questions regarding the business design.
• Create prototype solutions to assist business users with defining requirements.
• Engage with business representatives to obtain review and agreement on solutions that are presented.
• Service Delivery:
• Facilitate response to incidents raised within SLA.
• Assist business users with using the Business Intelligence tools and understanding the information presented.
• Facilitate training sessions for groups of users.
• Assist business and technical users with resolving data integrity queries.
• Talent Development:
• Coach and mentor junior staff.
