    Pool Attendant – The Kingdom

    Key Performance Areas:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring regular maintenance of the pool and surrounding area. Enforce pool rules and pro-actively prevent any incidents. Daily interaction with guests. Ensure equipment and chemicals are securely stored at the end of shift.

    Position Requirements:

    • First Aid level 1
    • Matric
    • Previous experience would be an advantage.

    GSE Maintenance – Kiara Lodge (FTC)

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Performance of high-quality repairs and routine maintenance, as directed, to a wide range of Company assets, including but not limited to Buildings, Plant, Machinery, Furniture, Equipment and Facilities. Performance of refurbishment as well as other projects, including construction. Provides support to Handymen in all aspects of the technical / mechanical side of the resort functions.     Handyman – The Kingdom

    Key Performance Areas:

    • The position is supporting the Manager in all aspects of the technical / mechanical / grounds side of the resort functions.  The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining Air conditioning units of the resort including all refrigeration units. Must be prepared to work a 6-day week, shifts, public holidays weekends and overtime. Will be required to manage staff and liaise with Service providers to achieve desired standard.

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance position
    • Sound knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building, carpentry, aircon, refrigeration, Hvac, heat pumps, water reticulation and pool maintenance

    Resort Receptionist – The Kingdom

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Ensuring that guests receive the best possible reception and assistance both on arrival, during their stay & upon departure. Ensuring that all Front Office procedures are followed & systems maintained and managed in accordance with set standards policies & procedures. Duties range from telephone, office administration, reservations, guest related queries, stock/asset control, data capturing and handling of money.     GSE Housekeeping Supervisor – The Kingdom

    Key Performance Areas:

    • To oversee housekeeping and laundry staff and ensure staff are allocated adequate work daily.
    • Checking all units on a check in day, one of each housekeepers’ units to be checked on other days to ensure that housekeeping staff are cleaning to the standards of the resort.
    • Checking the checklist against items in the unit before the guests checks in and when the guest checks out.
    • Checking upholstery, curtains, public amenities and games rooms daily.
    • Ensure that staff are using equipment and consumables correctly and avoiding damage to same & self as well as ensure wastage of consumables does not occur
    • Report any maintenance problems at reception and record in the maintenance logbook and follow up to check the request has been completed
    • Ensure that the necessary laundry equipment, fire extinguishers & housekeeping equipment is serviced & maintained when necessary
    • Controlling and recording spring-cleans, replacement utensils, crockery & cutlery as well as reporting and recording breakages to reception timeously and updating the Breakages register
    • Record the issues of consumables and guest supplies as laid down by management.
    • Undertaking monthly laundry & linen stock, utensil stock and consumable stock by the last working day of the month, checking the linen stock takes on a weekly basis, checking that daily housekeeping stock issues sheets correspond with consumable stock take
    • Issue linen, towels, bathmats etc. from said storeroom as required, checking that linen issued corresponds with linen returned and laundered on a daily basis
    • Ensuring that all subordinates are trained according to company standards.
    • Alert management of overcrowding in units and / or any unacceptable behaviour.
    • Act as a back up to the Housekeeper when off
    • Be available as back up for housekeeping
    • Deal with and try to solve any housekeeping or laundry staff grievances

    Lifeguard – The Kingdom

    Key Performance Areas:

    • We require a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests utilizing any of our swimming pools or water themed facilities. This to be achieved through being attentive & observant at all times, by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviours and by affecting rescues and the application of resuscitation and first aid as appropriate. Lifeguards must be able to enforce pool policies and discipline within the aforementioned areas. Must be able to communicate effectively with our guests. To ensure success you need to assess situations swiftly and make judicious decisions regarding the safety of swimmers.

    Position Requirements:

    • Previous Lifeguarding experience with relevant certification essential

    Resort Entertainment Manager – Dikhololo Resort

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Set up and host create meeting with entertainment department Staff weekly
    • Set up and host weekly meetings with department connecting service providers

    Assistant Food & Beverage Manager – Vaalwater – Limpopo

    Key Performance Areas: Assist the F&B Manager of a large and very busy Resort property with the following:

    • Planning, forecasting and budgeting the revenues and cost for the department.
