    Machine Operator - Gqeberha

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • The preparation and start-up of machines
    • Operation of machines and other equipment
    • Ensuring effective production safety and housekeeping
    • Cleaning machines and equipment
    • Participate in Mini business principles and practices.
    • Tank volume confirmations. (Must be able to work at heights)
    • Be able to conduct stock verification. 

    The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

    • Grade 12
    • Successfully completed x2 Skills Programmes, one being Basic Machine Operations
    • 1-2 years’ experience operating a machine
    • Ability to work under pressure and accurately
    • Proven ability in problem solving and knowledge of the various problem solving methods
    • Knowledge of safe working procedures

    RPM Operations Manager

    Safety

    • Ensure all safety rules are adhered to in the management of RPM Onsite (LSP) (if required overflow sites as well (LSP).

    Logistics Service Provider Management

    • The ability to manage and monitor the execution of the contracts with LSPs to guarantee the required level of safety, service, savings, and sustainability in line with defined RPM strategy.

    Budget preparation to ensure that resources needed for effective service delivery are adequately provided for.

    • Prepare budget proposal for RPM expenditure (CAPEX and OPEX)
    • Present budget for approval for each financial period
    • Monitor actual performance against budget and ensure budget discipline in the RPM department.
    • Drive cost-saving initiatives
    • Facility maintenance 

    Strategic RPM Objective

    • Zero Line Stoppages due to glass availability
    • Glass Quality supplied to line.
    •  Monitor LSP Supplier performance to ensure glass availability.
    • Tracks site loss, Circulation time and Missing, Broken and Foreign (MBF) of RPM SKUs

    RPM Operational Planning and Execution

    • Plans and controls the availability of returnable materials for production requirements.
    • Monitors the execution and progress of the return flow.
    • Attend weekly Planning meeting to ensure availability of RPM for production plans.

    TPM and Continuous Improvement

    • Measure Priority KPI’s
    • Performance improvements using appropriate TPM tools.
    • Perform deployments on KPI’s not meeting targets.
    • Zero Loss Improvements

    Leadership

    • Collaboration across departments and sources of supply
    • Stakeholder engagement
    • LSP’s Engagement

    Qualifications and experience

    • NQF 6 Qualification in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or relevant related qualification
    • 3-5 years relevant experience
    •  Material Requirements Planning, Logistics, or Pallet Management
    • Experienced in managing Logistic Service Provides / CHEP would be an advantage.
    • Computer literacy with sound working knowledge of SAP experience with proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

    Engineering Specialist Packaging

    • Maintenance of Packaging Equipment, Mechanical
    • Ensure Maintenance is performed according to company standards.
    • Drive reliability and equipment availability in packaging
    • Ensure utilities are managed and used sustainably in area of responsibility
    • Management of Maintenance teams
    • Management of Maintenance Contractors
    • Review of Planned Maintenance tasks and plans
    • Ensure OSHACT and Food safety regulations are adhered to.
    • Identify training needs and assist Artisans in managing personal development.

    The successful candidate must have the following qualification, experience/skills:

    • Recognised N6 Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering Certificate and a trade test certificate.
    • Knowledge of Packaging equipment, workshop and engineering practices, tools, and apparatus.
    • Minimum of 5 years practical experience.
    • 3 years’ experience in managing a Team.
    • Have proven verbal and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations regarding tools.
    • Experience in FMCG environment will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of all workshop/engineering tools, machines, apparatus, and materials.
    • Computer literate, SAP, MS Word & MS Excel.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure.

    Lab Analyst

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform accurate and timeous analyses on various samples to meet SLA requirements.
    • Maintain equipment to working condition as per schedule and conduct trouble shooting prior to escalating when necessary.
    • Perform various administrative activities as and when required.
    • Work according to policies, procedures and CAM to maintain various systems applied – ISO 9001/FSSC22000/17025
    • Proactively participate in problem solving and identify risk /improvement opportunities.
    • Communicate effectively with various teams.
    • Participate in proficiency testing scheme as per lab requirements.
    • Optimize use of lab resource-consumables etc.
    • Participate in internal audits.
    • Act as Senior Lab Analyst when required. 

    The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

    • National Diploma in Food Technology or Microbiology or equivalent qualification.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential.
    • Computer literacy, preferably MS Office; LIMS and SAP will be considered advantageous

    • Relevant experience within the Alcoholic Beverage or broader FMCG industry would be preferable.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Numerical and business acumen experience
    • High levels of energy, persistence, drive as well as a sense of urgency.
    • The ability to work optimally in a high performance and competitive environment.
