Key Performance Areas:

• The Digital Marketing Team Lead is ultimately responsible for setting up, implementing and managing the digital marketing strategies for the various Beekman Group Companies and Resorts. The Digital Marketing Team Lead will be tasked with analysing user experience data, initiating digital marketing projects, reporting on planned and current strategies, leading effective digital marketing strategies, and ensuring that projects are executed within budget. The Digital Marketing Team Lead must be innovative and social media, web and multimedia savvy. Ultimately, the outstanding Digital Marketing Team Lead should have a firm grasp of the various digital marketing touchpoints, steer our organisation’s digital marketing narrative, and drive highly effective digital marketing campaigns across all digital marketing networks and platforms. 

Position Requirements:

• Matric or Grade 12 equivalent
• 5 Years relevant working and management experience
• Strong analytical and project management skills  
• Strong numerical and Excel skills essential
• Hands on experience with online marketing tools and practices
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Digital Marketing Qualification or experience essential

Key Performance Areas:

• Responsible for Content Creation, Messaging and Positioning of all marketing copy
• Managing Public Relations and Communication as required
• Proofing of all marketing projects for grammar, spelling and relevance to brief
• Meet tight deadlines based on a daily schedule.
• Work collaboratively with the creative team, developers, client service and other team members including senior management
• Administration and Reporting
• Assist in research and information gathering
• Assist in the administration and/or coordination of other marketing projects as required

Key Performance Areas:

• As the Outlets Operations Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all of the Food & Beverage and Retail Outlets, Body Bliss Day Spa’s, Adventure Activities and related Outsource Partners (requiring extensive travel).   

Your management duties will include:

• Establishing company procedures, POS requirements, standards (including financial) and ensuring that they are maintained at all Food & Beverage and Retail Outlets, Body Bliss Day Spa’s and related Outsource Partners.
• Extremely competent in implementing and understanding all aspects of controls / POS systems across all outlet operations
• Overseeing efficient and cost-effective stock control and asset management systems.    
• Staff management related duties such as assisting with staff recruitment, staff performance, staff training as well as the efficient use of time by all personnel.
• Budgetary requirements must be adhered to 

Position Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification advantageous
• Proven F&B Management experience (including kitchen design) and a history of experience in the Hospitality industry
• Proven management skills including: Guest & Staff relations and administration, Management of revenue streams, Budgeting and Financial experience
• Excellent understanding of all aspects of Hospitality Operations
• Excellent administrative skills
• Experience in the operational, labour and financial aspects of a resort, spa, adventure activities and outsourced operators
• Sound understanding of budgeting
• Driver’s license and ability to travel at short notice or without prior notice for long periods
• Based at Head Office in Port Shepstone – no accommodation included
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Above average interpersonal skills
• Analytical ability and multitasking
• Working knowledge of GAAP, MS Office, Excel and Pastel
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Flexibility to travel
