    Inward Handling Clerk -Randfontein

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Understanding of inward logistics and raw material handling
    • Experience as a forklift driver will be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of Syspro/SAP/ MS Office

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Daily stock count to be done on all bulk raw materials and by-products, counts to be captured and communicated to management
    • Intake register to be completed of all incoming and outgoing loads and communicated to management
    • Printing and recording of all loading documents
    • Daily processing of all documents for loads received
    • Daily GRN’s to be done on System for loads received 
    • Processing of staff time sheets and submitting for sign off
    • Load leave workflows and submit for approval
    • Conduct SHEQ training (toolbox talks) and submit training registers to relevant departments
    • Manage all assets, inspect and monitor safe usage and that no equipment is misused
    • Maintain records of inspections done
    • Monthly SHE inspections to be done and signed off
    • GMP audit findings investigations and closing of findings
    • Implementation and training of all policies and procedures
    • Update notice boards with policy changes, new policies and regulation information as well as additional informational content
    • Raise job cards on system for maintenance requirements
    • Raise non-conformances on system as and when required
    • Reorder PPE in line with annual requirements and when required
    • Ensure Office equipment, canteen and change rooms requirements are sufficient and reorder as required
    • Complete requisitions and ensure orders are placed for all intake requirements (such as tea and coffee, stationary etc)

    Accountant - Polokwane

    Minimum Requirements

    • BComm / BComm Hons Degree or equivalent  preferably Accounting/SAICA/SAIPA
    • 3 Years relevant experience in a similar role 
    • Valid Driver’s Licence
    • Attention to detail.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Review Financial Records and Transactions

    •  Completes Month-end management accounts accurate and timeous.
    • Reviews recorded entries for accuracy and proper account posting.
    • Compiles month-end start to finish and working papers.
    • Processing all closing stock figures, reconcile stock variances
    • Monthly balancing stock and reconciling loan account
    • Assisting Financial Manager with month end detailed reports
    • Analysing monthly COS per GL and compare to WTR
    • Maintain Provisions & Accruals account
    • Maintain Discounts & Rebates provision account
    • Assist with all Financial related queries

    Report to Senior Management

    •  Report to the senior management team on all financial accounts.
    • Create reports when required for all financial transactions that relate to the business unit.
    • Compiles weekly reports & cashflow forecast

    Stock

    • Ensures all stock managed items are balanced (Stock sheets vs System processed)
    • Despatch Stock
    • Production Stock
    • Maintenance Spares
    • Workshop Spares
    • Report Stock managed item variances to senior management.

     Controls

    •  Liaison with Internal and External Auditors
    • Surprise depot visits reviewing:
    • Cash handling procedure are reiterated
    • Safe key procedures
    • Depot return procedures etc.
    • Ad Hoc Departmental audits & Feedback
    • Vansheet recons spot checks
    • Despatch recons spot checks
    • Despatch stock movement procedures spot checks
    • Production stock recons & performance
    • Workshop Jobcard spot checks
    • Compare deal sheet prices to Syspro
    • Spot checks on Staff rations issued out to verified list

    Other

    • Full admin managing function.
    • Perform monthly Wage recon (including verifying all supporting information)
    • Handling queries from drivers to manage debtors accounts.
    • All reconciliations are done on a monthly basis and reconciling items are cleared to the satisfaction  of the Financial Manager
    • Be available to assist in other admin function as and when needed

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure efficient and cost-effective product distribution
    • Ensure driver teams deliver according to mapped and optimised routes
    • Ensure all new and old customers are plotted on the GPS system
    •  Ensure orders are geared towards improving truck utilisation and loaves/km
    • Ensure delivery teams invoices correspond with loading list before vehicle leaves bakery
    • Ensure balancing of orders placed, delivered and returned
    • Monitor driver orders for informal trade customers daily
    • Monitor and track returns daily
    • Craft and action plans to drastically improve returns
    • Submit sales figures from drivers daily
    • Ensure driver teams’ sales are in line with sales targets
    • Source and distribute of key trade intelligence
    • Provide actionable plans for improvements and combating competitor activities
    • Ensure the capturing and allocation of all customer details
    • Ensure all customer details and classifications are loaded correctly on new accounts and are correctly listed on existing accounts
    • Ensure driver competency and delivery time management
    • Support, train, discipline and lead the driver & van assistant teams to deliver sales excellence
    • Employ efficient route riding system to see all customers within each month
    • Evaluate on-the-job performance, and provide training on shortfalls identified
