    Senior Data Scientist

    About The Position

    • The successful incumbent(s) will apply data analytics, machine learning and deep learning expertise to build high quality Artificial Intelligence (AI) products.

    Job Function

    • Application of data analytics, machine learning and deep learning expertise to build high quality Artificial Intelligence (AI) products

    Responsibilities
    Technology solutioning:

    • Identifying and developing innovative AI products, by building and optimizing AI models using appropriate AI techniques and state-of-the-art AI frameworks
    • Implementing big data collection procedures to identify, control and manage information that is relevant for building AI products
    • Applying data mining techniques for processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data
    • Identifying and utilizing the appropriate hardware and operational environments (e.g. cloud) to optimize development of AI products
    • Adherence to project, research and technical quality standards and methodologies
    • Remaining abreast of new technologies in the analytics and AI ecosystem

    Customers/ Project Management

    • Understand and interpret client requirements as well as making recommendations for the optimal use of AI
    • Deliver assignments on brief, on budget and on time, as per project expectations

    • Contribute to proposal development and securing of sales

    • Willingness to mentor, guide and supervise younger data scientists/ engineers

    Job Requirements
    Education Required:

    • Honours degree in computer science/engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, information technology or related field

    Experience Required
     

    • At least five (5) years’ experience in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and software development in Artificial Intelligence Technologies.
    • Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Matlab; Python; Java; R; C/C++.

    A Solid Track Record In The Following

    IT FIeld Technician

    Job Description

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE
    Act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our clients might face with accuracy and efficiency.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Ensure that all customer queries are addressed within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) stipulated time frame.
    • First time fix rate and recall rate under the stipulated requirements.
    • Maintain customer relationship.

    Internal Processes

    • Be productive based on the calls allocated to them.
    • Ensure that they comply with all Quality Management System (QMS) procedures provided by the Field Service Managers (FSM).
    • Maintain and manage sufficient boot stock.
    • Complete administration within time frames as per policies.
    • Action and close new calls within customer Service Level Agreements and Mean Time to Respond / Mean Time to Complete.
    • Technical support, maintenance, trouble shooting on retail machines and Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).

    Human Capital

    • Complete own training and development objectives as per agreed timelines in the personal development plan.
    • Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed according to the company requirement.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric or other equivalent qualification preferable
    • A + and N + Qualification

    Knowledge

    • 2 years’ experience in maintaining equipment in an IT environment
    • 1- 2 years POS/Electro-Mechanical Skills/Person which was in a Technical High School experience will be an advantage
