    General Technician (East London)

    Job Purpose:

    • The Technician is responsible for servicing, testing and repairs of computer equipment. This could include PCs, Tablets, Notebooks, PSUs, UPSs, monitors, printers, cash registers and/or other related equipment and components depending on the requirements of the position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete optimum number of repairs per day according to the specific discipline, keep to a minimum of 4 per day.
    • Complete work within the turnaround time of less than two days.
    • Maintain work rate at above 90% of SLA.
    • Maintaining a rework rate of below 3%.
    • Follow the correct test process for international brands.
    • Log test results on the server.
    • Accept repairs on system immediately after removing the item from the customer store.
    • Follow up with clients awaiting feedback and update the notes on system. Update the client on the job progress.
    • Return 100% of test stock to service stores within 2 days from receipt.
    • Complete applicable forms, such as fault reports, daily.
    • Communicate with clients in a friendly and professional manner as representative of Mustek.
    • Maintain a professional image with the necessary attention to being clean and neatly dressed.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Stay abreast of technological advancements pertaining to product range.
    • Provide customer support, either via e-mail, telephonic or at the front desk.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Matric
    • CompTIA A+
    • N+ (Preferred)
    • 2 years’ experience as a technician
    • Driver’s license (Preferred)

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • Knowledge of ICT industry
    • Product offering software and hardware technical knowledge
    • Computer literacy especially in Microsoft applications skills
    • Problem solving skills (analytical)
    • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Technical skills and problem analysis
    • Driver competency
    • Efficient trip management

    Microsoft Distribution Champion (Midrand)

    Job Purpose:

    • Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in achieving our business goals by focusing on recruitment, enablement, activation, sales, and marketing strategies. To drive growth and build strong partner relationships.

    Responsibilities:
    Recruitment:

    • Segment resellers and compile a target recruit list.
    • Identify MNA Top Device Sellers.
    • Communicate effectively with mapped partners.
    • Execute marketing content for High-Potential Leads (HPL) and Top Device Sellers.

    Enablement:

    • Deliver trainings to HPL & Device Sellers.
    • Register HPL, Tier1, Device Sellers in Expert Zone.
    • Drive M365/Office campaigns for Focus Resellers.
    • Collaborate with marketing to deliver events.

    Activation:

    • Create offers using OSIS Attach program.

    Marketing Support:

    Qualification and Experience:

    • 3 years+ proven experience in sales or product within the tech industry is preferred.
    • Ability to execute strategic plans aligned with company KPIs.
    • Knowledge of Windows and M365/Office products.

    Skills and Knowledge:
    Communication Skills:

    • Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
    • Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ability to communicate with managers, directors, VPs, CxOs.

    Project Management and Multitasking:

    • Manages complex projects efficiently.
    • Excels at multitasking and handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

    Organizational Skills:

    • Exhibits excellent organizational skills to streamline processes and meet objectives, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
    • Good listening and problem-solving skills.
    • Time management skills.

    Fluent in software terminology:

    • Ability to talk about software products and propose correct licensing.
    • Ability to craft a convincing sales pitch.

    Software Proficiency:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Ability to prepare PPT for customer entablements.
    • Familiar with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce).
