Key Responsibility Area 

• Lead the design and development of new features for the software systems, and improvement of the existing ones. 
• Design, develop and support SharePoint solutions and advanced workflows. 
• Work with clients to determine appropriate design requirements, translating into an optimal, easy to use solution. 
• Configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to business specifications. 
• Develop core business content types and list/library structures. 
• Scope the required development level of effort for new projects, Discrepancy Reports, and Requests for Change. 
• Design and implement user interface and workflows. 
• Implementation, debugging, documentation and release of the software solutions.
• Provide maintenance and enhancement support of the existing systems. 
• Perform software systems coding assignments. 
• Provides high-level expertise in developing complex SharePoint on-premise applications, SharePoint Online applications, as well as other platforms. 
• Defines functional requirements based on business needs. 
• Produces and maintains detailed technical documentation. 
• Supervision of the Software development team. 
• Provide development activities level effort and duration estimates for schedule planning. 
• Lead the process of reviewing code for consistent application of standards, perform guidance with other developers to instil an understanding of application and coding standards. 

Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum:

• 3-year National Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 

Experience: 

• 6 - 7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The experience must include Experience in solution analysis, and development for the development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of systems within the corporate/public sector, including:
• Successfully developed and implemented applications Software development team leadership competency Software development deliverable effort planning, estimations and execution management Developed efficient and effective IT solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Extensive experience with a wide variety of database management systems and maintenance.
• Extensive experience with a wide variety of programming languages and technologies. Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status. Experience in interacting with customers. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in developing and supporting SharePoint systems.

Qualifications and Experience 

• Prepare Infrastructure for implementation and deployment. Management and Administration of application, database, patches and service packs.
• Provide user support, 3rd party support, reporting and communication.
• Report on the work of the section to ensure accountability. Security and disaster recovery.
• Develop procedures and standards for database administration and related services and monitor implementation thereof. 

Minimum:

• 3-year National Higher Diploma / Degree in an ICT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) 

Experience: 

• 6 - 7 years’ experience on MS SQL Application DBA design, coding and documentation including managing MS SQL databases, ensuring data security, performance, and backup.

The experience must include.

• Experience in optimising of MS SQL Database, creates and supports system documentation and scripts and handles data migration and recovery within the corporate/public sector, including Successfully managed MS SQL database.

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Assist with maintaining the computer system or servers. 
• Assist with all implementations, installations, configurations, monitoring, trouble shooting and evaluation of existing and new operating systems, software and 3rd party software to ensure functional operating system 
• Assist with end-user support, resolving technical issues and providing technical assistance for all operating system-related customer queries 
• Provide input into the units monthly and quarterly reports regarding mainframe usage 

Qualifications and Experience 

Minimum: 

• 1 - 2-year National Certificate in Computer Science or Information Technology or Network Architecture or Computer Engineering. / NQF level 5 or accredited specialised courses. Certification: OEM/OSM Certification (e.g. Oracle, MCSE Data Platform, OCP Solaris, Redhat Linux or MCSE. 

Experience:

•  2-3 years’ experience or internship in computer science or information technology. Experience and exposure in the Data Centre environment will be an added advantage.
