    Technical Sales Support - Electrical Distribution

    Job description

    Schneider Electric seeks a Technical Support Consultant. This position is accountable for customer care center of a broad range of products/solutions/services. Responds to complex customer inquiries (phone, fax, e-mail) sales opportunities and addresses and services the needs of the highest-profile accounts. <?xml namespace prefix = "o" />

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Support

    • To provide technical support to customers.
    • To communicate solutions to customers and colleagues in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Assist with customer queries
    • To escalate cases to Team Leader CCC and level 2 technical support as and when applicable.
    • To respond timely by assisting colleagues with any quotation request that is received.
    • To make recommendations regarding possible equivalents/ replacements when necessary.

    Experience Skills And Experience

    • Ability to build an environment and relationship of trust and credibility with customers, understanding customer needs and goal alignment, developing rapport with key contacts.
    • Ability to understand the customer’s technical and application needs, in order to promote the appropriate SE offer that meets the customer requirements
    • Have an understanding of the market and competitors, in order to best promote Schneider Electric in the local market.
    • AAbilility to evaluate customer potential (penetration, attractiveness, accessibility), in order to verify opportunities.
    • Relevant Technical Qualification at NQF level 5/ National Diploma
    • 1-3 years Relevant Experience<?xml namespace prefix = "o" />

    • Drive Segment Projects, Solution & Service sales across Businesses
    • Allocate key local resources for his segment

    • Define the required Execution footprint
    • Drive the WWW Solution Offer roadmap in connection with Global Segments Organisation.
    • Manage and Lead Large WWW strategic projects & Strategic and Country Targeted Accounts

    • Senior Leadership & C-level Customer interaction

    Job Responsibilities

    • Segment Marketing
      • Set up the proper local Segment marketing resources
      • Define with the Segment Marketer the unique Customer Value Propositions for the targeted End-Users
      • Build & deploy local Segment business plan (growth ambition + business transformation)
      • Define the proper “go to market” rules by relative customers
    • Solution Offer
      • Set up the proper local Solution Architect resources
      • Define with the local or regional Solution Architect the Segment Solution Offer roadmap
      • Deploy and support the Solution Offer in the country
      • Adapt reference architectures to local requirements
    • Solution Selling
      • Define if the local Schneider Electric relevant for the targeted “segment”
      • Set up the local Sales objectives for the WWW Segment
      • Define, formalize and communicate the sales strategy & processes
      • Drive Solution & Service sales, coordinate channel sales for Segment
      • Manages WWW Solution opportunity portfolio & pipeline for the segment
      • Manage and develop relationship networks within the region
    • Solution Execution
      • Define the local/regional footprint and required set up of Execution center for his segment
      • Has the decision authority on the Execution strategy for critical projects

      • Responsible for the Up-Skilling / certification of Country Segment resources (KAM/NAM, Segment Marketing, Solution Architects)
      • Build the training paths for his team

    • 15+ years of experience of working in Power and Energy Segment
    • Competency to develop Customer Value Propositions

    Logistics Administrator – ITB Inbound

    • Make sure all receipts are done for the Day
    • All Putaways are done
    • Update Daily Inbound Report
    • Filing is upto date for SARS Ex-Con Review ( Yearly around Feb – March)
    • Assist with Cycle Counting
    • Raise RVN for stock variances from Inbound shipments
    • The candidate must have either SAP or Oracle experience also to be a level 2 to 3 on Excel.
