    Team Leader

    A day in the life of an Outbound Team Leader:

    Delivering on customer expectation:                                                                                                         

    Actively participate in all Warehouse related matters of the Customer Facing Supply Chain to ensure cross functional alignment through:

    • Regular and Pro-active communication with customers, customer service and other key stakeholders updated.     
    • Collaboration with customers, customer service and other key stakeholders on elements that will have an impact on Freshness and Bad Goods  
    • Ensuring that shipments are completed on time for pre - loading.

    Maintain budget and monitoring of KPI’s:                                                     

    • Managing IRA, stock losses and bad goods and provide monthly dashboard information.              
    • Manage staff to obtain productivity targets.                                                  
    • Manage warehouse accuracy in terms of picking.                                                        
    • Management of staff resources (Temp vs FTE labour)                                                
    • Management of Automation LGV's and utilization                                                       
    • Management of Kronos hours, annual leave, absenteeism                                                      
    • Holistic people management and development                                            
    • Updating KPI’s/DOR/WOR boards and presenting/responding to questions related to information on the boards.                                          
    • Managing inbound/outbound transport vehicles in terms of turnaround times.                                      
    • Managing outsourced transport service providers/agents in terms of POD ‘s, outstanding shipments, on time deliveries etcetera.

    Manage inventory and equipment:

    • MH Health Checks is managed daily and reported to a Line Manager                                                       
    • MH equipment to be in good condition.                                           
    • Security targets (Product losses & theft, incidents related to risk etc.)                                                 
    • Organizing daily cycle counting and analyses daily/weekly variances to institute corrective action where they are stock variances.           
    • Ensure warehouse accuracy target is met.                                                     
    • Managing printing and reprinting of SSCC labels and ensuring that best practices are complied with.                                                       
    • Running daily blocked stock and investigate the reasons for blocking of stock.                                        
    • Manage unit to unit transactions.                                                         

    Manage safety and health by:                                                     

    • Ensuring that safety regulations and legislation are adhered to.                                             
    • Investigating and reporting all accidents                                           
    • Ensuring compliance to driven machinery requirements                                           
    • Ensuring implementation and compliance with quality control systems and procedures                           

    Manage talent and succession plans by:                                           

    • Conducting IDP’s, PE/PDG and driving performance management.                                                         
    • Maintaining discipline and taking corrective action where necessary.                                                    
    • Select, retain, develop, and lead the right people.                                                      
    • Assist LEAN Value Stream Design by embracing and implementing a structured approach towards all the elements of NCE thereby ensuring that a continuous improvement culture is developed and sustained.                                                    

    What will make you successful?

    • Production Diploma or equivalent and relevant operational experience at market/business level
    • 3-5 years’ experience in the Distribution environment
    • Operational experience at market/business level in the following areas is beneficial:
    • Formal Knowledge of distribution end to end process.
    • Stock control, SHE, Quality
    • SAP experience
    • Employee Relations experience

    Employee Services Administrator

    A day in the life of an Employee Services Administrator at Nestle:

    • Validate employee timecards against pay rules in the Product Design Document (Kronos PDD)
    • Check Kronos system weekly and correct any shift pattern changes missed punches and absences.
    • Ensure Kronos and SAP interface is accurate.
    • Working time compliance and reporting
    • Overtime compliance & rest period compliance - Conduct weekly overtime reconciliation (overtime authorization sheets vs overtime approved in Kronos)
    • Provide weekly reporting to Site Leadership for overtime worked vs approved and implement corrective measures.
    • Perform Pre-boarding & Off-boarding activities - Process hire/termination webforms, employee benefits consultations (Medical aid/ Retirement Fund), facilitate final payments.
    • Management of TTD process
    • Day-to-day employee benefit administration (addition of dependents/ removal of dependents)
    • Monthly FTE reporting to NBS
    • Coordinate and support Headcount Budget review process.
    • HR administration related queries (Pay, leave, Pension & Provident fund, medical aid) and liaise with NBS/ LES Teams
    • Maintain EE personal file in the EDF and hard copy format as per care requirements.
    • Liaise with Corporate LES and NBS on payment requests.
    • Responsible with the HRBP’s for the HR data quality for the site
    • Ensure coordination and payment of HR Service Providers
    • Coordination of taxi services and management of taxi service providers including payment
    • Create all purchase requisitions, purchase orders and framework orders for HR service providers.
    • Ensure all HR vendors are paid on time in line with Service Level Agreements
    • Management of Laundry Services and issuing of lockers
    • Management of SACS System including reporting and overall access management for all employees including contractors

    What will make you successful?

    • 3-year Diploma/Degree in HR / Payroll
    • 1-2 years working experience in time and attendance systems.
    • Knowledge of SAP system
    • Good understanding of HR processes & policies
    • Good Knowledge of Time Management System (Kronos)
    • Sound understanding BCEA and Tax legislation.
    • Advanced Excel experience 
    • Knowledge of Overtime Management
