    Business Intelligence Developer

    What will you do?

    The Management Information System {MIS} Team is looking for a positive, self-driven team member within the Business Intelligence Development space.

    The MiWay MIS Team is responsible to provide Business intelligence (BI) as a solution that includes the applications, infrastructure, tools, and best practices that enable access to and analysis of information to improve and optimize decisions and performance within MiWay as a business. We need to deliver the technology-related insight necessary for our business users to make the right decisions, every day.

    The candidate must have passion for data, numbers and reporting and show strong capabilities when developing BI solutions. The main key performance area will be to develop reporting solutions as a Business

    Intelligence developer.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Degree in Information Technology
    • Designing and building reports using Pivots and connections within a OLAP or Tabular data warehouse
    • architecture
    • Be proficient with SQL and using SSIS/SSRS and SSAS
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working within a Microsoft environment using SQL, SSIS and SSRS is needed. Deliverables include, but will not be limited to
    • Analyzing and understanding data from multiple sources including sales, customer, accounting data sets
    • and create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making
    • Working with several large and complex SQL databases
    • Be fully capable of developing OLAP or Tabular Model Cubes within a SQL environment. {SQL Server 2010 or higher}

    GM: Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

    What will you do?

    The position of GM: Internal Marketing exists in MiWay. The primary responsibility of this role is to direct the development and implementation of Internal Marketing and employee engagement strategy.

    We are looking for a highly creative storyteller and wordsmith, who will be the internal brand voice, ambassador, and maestro of all things culture, purpose, and values. This position will actively drive communication and engagement efforts for +1600 employees of MiWay.

    The incumbent will

    • Develop and implement Internal Marketing and employee engagement strategies.
    • Drive employee understanding, knowledge, and buy-in to the strategic direction of the business.
    • Be the gatekeeper of the internal communications calendar and ensure the internal communications plan is aligned with the broader comms and culture plan.
    • Oversee as well coordinate cross-functionally all internal communication channels and platforms.
    • Ensure that staff across all offices are actively engaged and feel included
    • Provide counsel and writing support to key internal stakeholders as needed, and develop messaging and internal communications plans for company updates, key initiatives, and other topics.
    • Entrench MiWay’s employee value proposition, including identifying and implementing engagement sessions and communications opportunities to connect leadership with employees.
    • Work closely with HR and Learning & Development teams to facilitate the delivery of employee communications campaigns.
    • Work closely with Client Experience team in driving communication and activities that drive our service culture.
    • Plan, create and oversee the implementation of engaging content for the internal communications channels (SPO, email, newsletters, face-to-face workshops, etc.) and regularly evaluate the efficiency of the channels used, making continuous improvements.
    • Manage the planning and implementation of both virtual and in-person staff events, roadshows, connection sessions, workshops, etc.
    • Provide data insights and facilitate employee feedback sessions to enable continuous evolution of strategy and plans.
    • Manage third-party suppliers, including agencies, designers, and associated budgets to ensure strategic and cost-effective use of services.
    • Direct and manage the Internal Marketing team’s performance (KPIs) and enable their development plans to ensure that both personal development and business objectives are being met.

    Qualifications And Skills

    • Marketing / Communication / PR / Journalism degree or equivalent
    • Proven track record (+10 years of experience) of developing corporate communications, internal marketing, or marketing activities.
    • Proven experience in creating and executing internal communications campaigns and events.
    • Proven experience in managing and coordinating projects across functions.
    • Ability to identify and analyze business and audience needs to deliver messages via the most appropriate mix of channels.
    • Ability to be hands-on as well as strategic.
    • Proactive nature with the ability to work independently and flexibly.
    • Fluency in English with creative writing ability that has a strong adherence to business English grammatical standards.
    • Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management.

The primary goal of this role is to create and execute effective communication strategies that foster a transparent, informed, and engaged work environment within MiWay. We are looking for a communication maestro with a flair for crafting messages that resonate and inspire. Someone with a knack for turning complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives and turning events into memorable experiences. Key Responsibilities include:

    • Assist with the development and implementation of internal marketing strategies that amplify MiWay’s culture, purpose, and values.
    • Craft compelling and informative content for various internal communications channels (SPO, email, newsletters, face-to-face workshops, etc.)
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather content and ensure accuracy in messaging.
    • Plan and execute communication campaigns around key initiatives, events, and milestones.
    • Monitor and analyze the impact of communication efforts, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
    • Assist with the implementation of all EVP and Culture strategies.
    • Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development teams, and other functions on content development, creative writing, and curation.
    • Plan, coordinate, and drive the implementation of internal events and employee engagements.
    • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by GM for Internal Marketing or HOD.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

    • Relevant Degree in Marketing with a concentration in marketing, communications, or journalism
    • Minimum four (5) years’ experience in Communications and/or Internal Communications and Employee Engagement
