    Access Controller - Polokwane Rural

    Description

    • The purpose of this position is to monitor and control access to the Bokoni site to ensure adherence to SHEQ and other organisational and client requirements.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Receive all visitors and contractors to determine their access control needs and process access requests according to client and organisational procedures.
    • Accurately control and issue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to all visitors and contractors where required.
    • Capture all new employees onto the system and issue access cards according to Company procedure.
    • Check the medical assessment register on a weekly basis to ensure that all employee inductions and all medicals are up to date.
    • Communicate with the respective HOD’s to inform them of expired inductions or medicals.
    • Check all contractors’ induction and medical records prior to entering the plant on a daily basis.
    • Conduct induction training to all contractors as / when required.
    • Check and ensure that all contractors comply with the following: letter of good standing, copy of ID, Red ticket; training certificate/s; risk assessments and work instructions prior to entering the plant.
    • Ensure that all visitors complete the visitor’s entry permit prior to entry and that they wear the relevant PPE.
    • Ensure that all delivery personnel complete the visitor entry permit and that they sign the induction agreement prior to allowing entrance to the plant.
    • Compile various reports according to organisational requirements.
    • Capture SHEQ related documentation and assist with reports on a monthly basis.
    • Coordinate internal SHEQ Training as and when required.
    • Collate all required paperwork for legal appointments.
    • Coordinate medical bookings and other site / client specific requirements.
    • Assist with Health & Safety campaigns as and when required.
    • Compile various reports according to organisational and client requirements.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Office Administration / Secretarial Certificate
    • SHERQ Certificate will be preferred

    Financial Administrator – Site - Polokwane Rural

    Description

    • The purpose of this position is to manage Finance related administration and to assist in ad hoc accounting duties.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • The Graduate Engineer-in-training Programme is designed to equip graduates with industry experience and professional development through practical learning programmes.

    Maintenance Data Capturer - Polokwane Rural

    Description

    • The purpose of this position is to safely, cost-effectively and accurately identify, plan & schedule maintenance and shutdown work and maintain master data in the planned maintenance system.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Maintenance Support:

    • Link new materials to Bill of Materials (BOM) and update BOM on SAGE.
    • Load new task lists and update existing task lists on the system.
    • Capture, update and maintain maintenance plans.

    Maintenance Scheduling:

    • Determine maintenance needs and coordinate with relevant internal or external Artisans.
    • Create Work Orders and allocate the task lists to the relevant Supervisors.
    • Create Requisitions for non-stock items and allocate components.

    Maintenance Planner - Polokwane Rural

    Description

    • The purpose of this position is to manage the Engineering Planning office to ensure minimum downtime using the On Key Computerized Maintenance Management System.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinates and monitors all Engineering maintenance and planning activities relating to the Technical and Metallurgical processes within the Plant.
    • Complement planned work by gathering critical information (resources, spares and tools arranged) for effective and safe execution.
    • Continually evaluate and motivate critical spares to support equipment reliability during its life cycle.
    • Actively assist in managing work backlogs.
    • Responsible for establishing and maintaining an accurate and comprehensive asset register, and managing the plant critical spares in collaboration with Engineer and Materials Controller.
    • Planning of responsibilities with the Engineer to ensure an efficient workflow.
    • Ensure compliance to all required standards and procedures.
    • Coordinate with subordinates to provide coverage during leave.
    • In order for the Maintenance Planner to contribute towards the safe and efficient achievement of set production targets, he/she will responsible to:
      • Compile and maintain a computerized asset plan ensuring that it is always up to date.
      • Provide asset reports to the Plant Engineer on a periodical basis as required.
      • Compile requisitions as and when necessary to ensure that special equipment is in stock for work required.
      • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis and report the findings thereof to the Plant Engineer when major failures occur.
      • Compile monthly reports from Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and submit to respective parties.
      • Compile ad hoc reports as and when required by management or the client.
      • Optimize scheduled tasks based on historical plant equipment failures.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Relevant Trade Test Certificate with 5 years’ experience as an Artisan and 2 years’ experience as a Foreman; or
    • National Diploma Engineering with at least 5 years process plant experience

    Experience & Skills Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Maintenance Planning role
    • Expert knowledge of and training in the maintenance module Pragma On Key or other similar maintenance module
    • Relevant planned maintenance system training, On Key would be an advantage
    • Sound knowledge of Mining Engineering Codes of practices, policies and procedure
    • A good knowledge of machinery and equipment used on the relevant operations
    • Understanding of engineering best practices and new technologies relating to engineering principles & processes
    • Proven technical and maintenance capability
    • Sound knowledge of Condition Monitoring practices
    • Good working knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance principles would be very advantageous
    • Mineral Process Plant experience would be an advantage

    • The purpose of this position is to coordinate and ensure the availability of inventory in support of production and maintenance requirements.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Comply with all relevant Minopex SHEQ Management systems and procedures.
