    Inventory Controller

    Purpose of the Job

    • To manage and control bulk fuel inventory and account for all stock related movements accurately and timeously in order to contribute to the efficient running of Depot/Terminal and effectively contribute to profitability

    Who you are:

    • You are purpose driven, are a perfectionist and you’ve got a flair with numbers
    • You are an expert in inventory management
    • You are passionate about working with numbers and adhering to processes and procedures
    • You have excellent investigative and troubleshooting skills
    • You have a reputation for integrity, honesty, analysing reports and accurate

    What you’ll have done before:
    Baseline:

    • At least 2 years of depot operations experience or inventory management related experience
    • Certificate preferred
    • Exceptional excel skills and SAP knowledge
    • Deep knowledge of inventory management and analyzing multiple reports

    Advantageous:

    • Diploma qualification in Supply Chain or Business or Accounting
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
    • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, resolution driven and provides solutions, assesses discrepancies through report gathering and scrutinizing
    • Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to apply within an Inventory Management environment

    What you'll be doing:

    • Management and control of bulk and packaged products inventory and account for all stock related movements accurately and timeously in order to contribute to the efficient running of the depot and effectively contribute to profitability.
    • Proactively running reports and investigating possible variance.
    • Measuring and investigating the costs for the losses and gains
    • You'll leverage on stakeholder management and collaboration

    • Applies knowledge of the Petrochemical (and FMCG) marketplace to advance the organisation’s KPI’s by reconciliation through finding and explaining Gains and Losses
    • Driving accountability for variances by engaging with relevant stakeholders
    • Creates reports to assess information from various programs
    • Effectively detect variances from reports and investigate the losses and gains that are unearth
    • Operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear

    Category Manager: Building & Construction

    Develop and execute sourcing and supplier relationship management strategies for specific sub-category of spend to ensure alignment with Procurement and business needs and goals and in compliance with relevant policies, practices and standards.

    Advantageous:

    • CIPS Certification or equivalent,
    • Experience in commercial bid analysis & advanced negotiations,
    • Experience in Advanced Supplier Relationship (ASR) / Stakeholder Relationship Management,
    • INCLUDING In-direct Procurement data analytics and demand management, while always focusing on the development of the Procurement Category Strategy,

    What you’ll be doing
    Category Management:

    • Manage the assigned sub-category by building and executing strategic sourcing plans and category management plan supported by in-depth analysis of purchasing demand & forecasting of supplier markets, continuous development of market intelligence, price/cost structures, generate qualified & vetted suppliers bidder list and assessment criteria, execute the bidding process, drive the negotiation strategy and prepare & operationalize the contract to ensure optimal value delivery of business objectives.

    Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Develop and ensure sustainable and effective supplier relationship management through reliable supply base and build partnerships with strategic suppliers, lead pre-qualification assessment of potential suppliers, develop clear strategy to optimize allocation of spend across suppliers, facilitate supplier performance management and assess supplier risks, develop supplier segmentation by category, interface with senior supplier executives to set supplier management targets, manage end-to-end contract management life cycle and develop mitigation plans to ensure delivery and performance of suppliers as per agreed SLA's.

    Procurement Savings:

    • Deliver on sub-category savings and goals in alignment with sub-categories savings targets and operational goals with Category Head to drive execution of initiatives to achieve targets and goals.

    Procure to Pay Process Management:

    • Monitor and drive smooth execution of transaction process by providing visibility to business, managing, and escalating transactional risks to ensure delivery of business objectives.

    Business Interfacing and Support:

    • Drive interactions with business to understand requirements and align on demand planning and forecasts using relevant division's business plans to develop effective procurement strategy and ensure alignment with CPO, Category Heads and Transactional Head.

    Bulk Truck Operator

    Purpose of the Job:

    • To transport finished products over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centres in order to meet delivery schedules and customer needs as per agreed SLA's.

    Who You Are:

    • At least 2 years related driving experience in Petrochemical industry
    • Experience in customer service and administration
    • Extensive knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations

    • Measuring Execution of deliverables as per the SI417a; SI417b (Standard Instruction)
