    Analyst - Sandton

    Key Purpose

    • This role is to provide business with operational and incentive research, analysis and reporting produced from survey data sources (internal or external) to support its business operational improvements. Gather, synthesize and summarize information to support decision making and communication. Continuous improvement in research methodology and tools

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Compile and update daily/weekly/monthly reports on PowerBI
    • Design and build surveys based on business requirements.
    • Data extraction/gathering
    • Research best practice and new innovative ways of presenting data.
    • Ensure quality and accuracy in data reported on and all work/reports/analysis produced.
    • Compile/update standard operating procedure manuals for reports.
    • Proactively work with system and business analysts to develop and upgrade survey systems
    • Ensures problems are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
    • Produce and drive adhoc analysis to answers questions posed by business, and present findings to business
    • Implementation of identified solutions in business
    • Continuous investigation of programming languages to enhance research tools

    Qualification & Experience

    • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce
    • 4 years experience working in a data analysis and reporting role in PowerBI
    • 3 years experience in programming language (SQL/Python/R)
    • 2 years project management experience
    • Ability to analyze/interpret data, take appropriate action and use good judgment to escalate issues when necessary
    • Project management/administration ability
    • Experience with data analysis and reporting in PowerBI.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to coordinate various projects simultaneously
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Access and PowerPoint

    Training Consultant - Sandton

    Key Purpose

    • To build and maintain solid relationships with Brokers, with a main focus on training of the FAZ (Financial advisor zone) system and provide ongoing support to ensure high usage of the FAZ system.
    • Identify gaps to ensure training is focused on specific areas to increase usage.
    • Plan, develop and implement operational roll-out plans for system changes, upgrades and new functionality.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Maintain accurate details of gap analysis for Brokers to determine trends (product, system and technical) and communicate with management
    • Development training schedules and structured roll out plans

    • 2 years’ training experience (Advantageous)
    • 2 years’ relevant legislation knowledge (Essential)

    Legal Advisor - Sandton

    Key Purpose

    • To manage and oversee a litigation recovery and liability portfolio ensuring litigation efficiencies by managing attorney performance by increasing returns on recoveries and optimizing savings on liability claims with minimum cost.

    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

    • Achievement of monthly targets
    • Identify all viable recoverable litigation claims.
    • Maximum profitability on litigation recovery portfolio
    • Maximum profitability on litigation liability portfolio
    • Short turn-around time on finalisation of recoveries
    • Accurate, timely administration

    Education and Experience

    • Matric (Essential)
    • LL. B or other legal equivalent qualification (Essential).
    • Admitted attorney with a minimum of 2 years post article experience (Advantageous).
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a short-term insurance recoveries and liability department (Essential)
    • Attorney Management (Advantageous)
    • In depth Knowledge of Civil Procedure and Law of Delict (Essential).
