    Senior Credit Manager

    Job Purpose

    Responsible for the overall credit risk management of a portfolio comprising commercial / residential properties and equity lending exposures in line with the credit policies and the overall business strategy of the company.

    This includes evaluation and structuring of new opportunities, initial credit due diligence and preparing recommendations to the credit committee as well as ongoing monitoring.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate credit granting specialist skills in assessing and structuring complex lending transactions to meet credit risk appetite targets.
    • Demonstrate and display profound understanding and experience in the finance of commercial and industrial real estate properties.
    • Evaluate an individual’s or company’s stability, adeptness of management team and creditworthiness by analysing relevant documents including balance sheets, income statements, and rent rolls etc. Validates any assumptions, projects and overall borrower viability and ability to repay the credit request. Uses internal and web-based analysis tools as needed to document findings.
    • Conduct industry and company specific research in order to assess the credit worthiness of potential new credit transactions.
    • Preparation and review of credit proposals and motivate transactions to the Credit Committee for approval.
    • Maintain good relationships with various stakeholders (front office and support teams) and provide accurate information
    • Demonstrate an understanding of credit and risk assessment tools, risk measurement and rating methodologies, including their underlying assumptions and potential weaknesses.
    • Demonstrate resilience and ability to work in a competitive and highly pressurised work environment to ensure that deadlines are met.
    • Provide ad hoc training and coaching to junior credit or new staff members through provision of relevant materials, explanations and/or presentations.
    • Performs other related duties where required and deemed necessary.

    CX Researcher

    Job Purpose

    • Our Retail and Business Banking Digital Design Team is looking for a CX Researcher to contribute to Nedbank's design solutions by discovering, interpreting and communicating findings, insights and opportunities in an actionable way. In this role you will be required to ensure that research is grounded in a deep and contextual understanding of what matters to the people we're designing for.
    • This role will provide you with the unique opportunity to tap into a broad understanding of various research methods and approaches and execute the correct research methodology/approach to bridge the gap between where our customers are, and where they want to be.     Job Responsibilities

    • Determine appropriate research methods/approach based on the underlying design challenge
    • Conduct both primary and secondary Design Research with CX, UX, UI and DL
    • Prepare research data to enable CX Designer to synthesise (possibly assist with Design Synthesis)
    • Discover, interpret and communicate findings, insights and opportunities (in collaboration with CX, UX, UI and DL)
    • Develop test plans and protocols (in collaboration with UX, UI and DL)Design and execute usability tests, heuristic evaluations, user interviews and surveys.
    • Hypothesis testing with CX,UX, UI and DL
    • Discover, interpret and communicate findings, insights and opportunities to various stakeholders.

    NIR Sales Consultant - Boxer Duncan Village - East London

    Job Purpose

    • To retain, maintain and increase Nedbank's client base through relevant need-based selling and servicing of financial products and services to the In-Retailer market segment.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Deliver on agreed sales and service opportunities by selling Nedbank products in identified In-retailer stores and communities (i.e. Boxer and Personal Loans).

    Group Specialist: Young Talent YES

    Role Purpose

    • To provide operational support to the Group HR Talent Portfolio by co-ordinating Young Talent Portfolio workstreams which include marketing, recruitment and induction/onboarding to achieve the Nedbank’s Young Talent strategy.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track the progress against, as well as project risk register.
    • Build and manage Young Talent Portfolio stakeholder relationships both internal and external.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation including steerco, OpCom packs and presentations as required.
    • Report on project milestones, progress, risks and mitigations on all workstreams.
    • Coordinate and consolidate status reports monthly and quarterly.
