    Print Depot Controller - Department of Information Technology Services - 24934

    JOB PURPOSE:

    • To complete customer requests for printing by receiving and processing requests for printing.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    Job costing:

    • Receive requests for printing (either as electronic or hard copies) and record
    • Calculate the cost for printing and inform client
    • Complete paperwork for every print job received
    • Ensure cost for printing is kept up to date according to UP policies
    • Machine operation and coordinate dispatch
    • Process the printing to specification using the appropriate material
    • Inform client when printing is done and ready for collection
    • Complete the dispatch documents
    • Oversee the dispatch of the printed documents

    Planning:

    • Keep track of stock, and order new stock timeously
    • Keep register of tasks to be performed on a regular basis
    • Keep statistics and calculate totals

    Maintenance:

    • Ensuring that machine is in good condition
    • Cleaning the machines
    • Ordering of chemicals, paper and stationery

    General:

    • Maintain quality service by dealing with enquiries regarding completion
    • Provide prompt and efficient reaction to client requests
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

    Substitution:

    • Assist in other sections of UP Print when need
    • Complete work tasks relevant to work, and as requested by manager
    • Carry out additional duties or responsibilities, which fall reasonably within the scope of the job description, or in accordance with operational requirements.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 certificate;
    • Two years’ experience in operation of printing and copier machines;
    • Two years’ experience of office routine and organisation.

    Job Purpose

    • The position is responsible for bringing in sales revenue to meet monthly and annual sales targets. The position will maintain and manage customer relations and provide information on the station’s services offerings. The position must stay abreast of the latest industry trends, innovate in terms of Tuks FM’s product offerings, monitor the competition and pursue new sales opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Manage sales team and revenue generation:
      • Providing clients with Tuks FM’s services offering
      • Conducting and interpreting research to identify how the station’s marketing solutions meet client’s business needs
      • Preparing reports, proposals, and campaign briefs

    Technical and Production Coordinator - Tuks FM - 24936

    Job Purpose

    The position provides support for all technical and production activities at the station. The position is required to be on standby after hours and on weekends when required.

    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    Administration:

    • Planning audio and production requirements
    • Storing records as per station requirements
    • Completing administration of client recordings

    Production activities:

    • Maintaining the production activities of the station in accordance with planned strategies timeously
    • Compiling campaign reports for station departments
    • Gathering requested audio for air checks/ICSA/BCCSA purposes, and submit to the relevant manager

    Technical activities:

    Associate Professor/Professor- Centre For Human Rights - Faculty of Law - 24918

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The responsibilities of the incumbent will include:

    • Teaching and curriculum development in the subject specialisations of human rights law, with a focus on sexual and reproductive health and rights in an African context, at the postgraduate level
    • Conducting academic and scholarly research in pursuit of the Faculty’s research objectives
    • Supervising students at the postgraduate level
    • Assisting with academic administration and management when required
    • Providing mentorship to post-doctoral fellows

    • At least 8 years’ tertiary teaching experience, which includes curriculum development and transformation as strong recommendations
    • A significant record of quality peer-reviewed publications, exemplified by at least 16 peer-reviewed or DHET accredited publication units, of which 6 should have been published in the past 4 years
    • An excellent record of successful postgraduate supervision at Master’s and Doctoral level, exemplified by successful postgraduate student supervision of at least 4 research master’s or 6 coursework master’s mini-dissertations, and one doctoral student
    • Conference papers delivered at national or international conferences
    • Suitable NRF research rating, or a substantive peer-review report or other proof of academic standing indicating local recognition and some international recognition in the field of expertise
    • Relevant academic administration experience
    • Evidence of international presence in the field of human rights law, preferably with a focus on sexual and reproductive health in an African context
    • Evidence of community engagement related to human rights
    • Active memberships of academic relevant local and international subject-related bodies, where applicable.

    Professor

    • An outstanding record of quality peer reviewed publications, exemplified by at least 30 peer-reviewed or DHET accredited publication units, of which 8 should have been published in the past 5 years
    • An excellent record of successful postgraduate supervision at Master’s and Doctoral level, exemplified by successful supervision of at least 6 research masters or 10 coursework master’s mini-dissertations, and 2 doctoral theses
    • Active memberships of academic relevant local and international subject-related bodies, where applicable
    • Conference papers delivered at international conferences
    • Suitable NRF research rating or a substantive peer-review report or other proof of academic standing indicating international recognition in the field of expertise
    • Relevant academic administration experience

    Responsibilities

    The incumbent will be responsible for:

    • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate modules in the Department

    • Expertise and research experience in one or more of the specialist areas of the research groups in the Department
    • A proven research record supported by publications in high quality peer reviewed journals
    • A record of previous undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching experience.
