    Transport Coordinator

    • As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordination of all mining road transport related activities for the company.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Transporter Onboarding
    • Transport Planning (Booking and Route Allocation)
    • Transporter Monitoring
    • Transport Query Management
    • Reconciliations (Transport and Diesel)
    • Road Transport Reporting (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly)
    • Monitor WhatsApp groups and respond in real time
    • Inform problem/issues to the relevant department or transporters
    • Ensure scanning issues are resolved on Transport Management System
    • Ensure that communication is maintained with all transporters and staff
    • Coordinate, monitor and record all communication from various sites
    • Create and maintain register on all issues per site, transporter, FEL downtimes, etc.
    • Report to coal ops on extended waiting periods at the port, weighbridges, mines, etc.
    • Be the first contact in case of emergencies
    • Inform relevant key stakeholders within the company of emergencies
    • Ensure ticket system is maintained and updated at all times

    Minimum requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transport or related is preferred
    • Computer skills in MS Excel (Formula's, Pivot table, Vlookup)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to work shifts
    • A valid drivers licence and own transport is preferred

    Junior Buyer

    • As a Junior Buyer, you will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary for mining operations. This role involves supporting the Senior Buyer and Procurement Manager in ensuring that purchases are made in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
    • Maintain and update the supplier database
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality goods and services
    • Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking
    • Coordinate with site teams to ensure efficient inventory flow
    • Conduct regular inventory audits
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
    • Ensure procurement activities are within budget constraints
    • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
    • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management
    • Work closely with other departments, such as operations, and finance, to understand procurement needs
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with project timelines and requirements
    • Provide regular updates on procurement status and any issues or delays
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new products, and suppliers
    • Analyze market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector
    • Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    Stores Supervisor

    • As the Stores Supervisor, you will be responsible to managing the inventory and supply chain operations specific to the mining environment. This role ensures that all materials, tools, and equipment are efficiently stored, tracked, and dispatched to support mining operations.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for mining operations
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations
    • Oversee the receipt of materials and equipment, ensuring they meet quality and quantity specifications
    • Coordinate the dispatch of supplies to various departments within the mining plant
    • Lead and train warehouse staff in best practices for inventory handling and storage
    • Schedule work assignments and manage performance evaluations
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in storage practices
    • Conduct safety training for staff related to handling hazardous materials
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and generate reports for management
    • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes
    • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any discrepancies
    • Assist in evaluating and selecting suppliers based on performance and reliability
    • Identify areas for efficiency improvement in storage and inventory processes
    • Implement best practices and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness

    Minimum requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
    • 5 years experience in inventory management or stores supervision, preferably in a mining industry
    • Strong understanding of inventory management software and systems
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
    • Knowledge of safety regulations related to mining and hazardous materials
