    Accountant

    RESPONSBILITIES:

    This position will assist in administering all levels of accounting and special projects as needed by management. 

    • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts; general ledger operations, prepare and post journal entries
    • Assist with month-end close and preparation of monthly financial statements, monthly financial reports, account reconciliations, etc.
    • Record financial transactions in accordance with company policies
    • Assist with preparation and coordination of the global financial statement audit
    • Perform with respect to a tax-related matters/requests including VAT tax and income tax in concert with 3rd party service providers
    • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
    • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process (global and SA statutory)
    • Analyse and interpret financial data, trends, variances to forecast and budget and other financial analyses
    • Prepare weekly monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for management
    • Help with treasury and cash flow activities
    • Play an integral role in revenue recognition, contract organization, and deferred revenue waterfalls
    • Provide value in acquisition-related due diligence or integration activities
    • Various other projects, as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Knowledge and Skills: 

    • Strong skills with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Adept at using technology including a variety of software packages/online portals/Cloud-based systems to capture, analyse and record information
    • Strong work ethic, follows instructions, raises issues, good communication skills, solicits feedback to improve performance
    • Ability to handle a wide breadth of work and responsibilities in a timely fashion, well-reviewed and with conclusions that demonstrate appropriate level of business acumen and present alternative decision points where necessary
    • Willing to work extended time frames during month-end close and any other periods of critical financial activities
    • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills 
    • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
    • Reviews work, self-starter, a focus on accuracy, planning, organizing, scheduling and monitoring
    • Strong initiative, clear summaries of analyses and problem-solving skills
    • May have to work on SA holidays if the US holidays do not correspond, ‘comp time’ will be offered in lieu

    Education and Experience:  

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 3+ years accounting experience
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
    • Knowledge of financial reporting
    • Previous experience of general accounting, US GAAP preferred, IFRS acceptable
    • Proficiency in relevant accounting software
    • Chartered accountant and previous audit experience are a ‘nice to have’

    Systems Administrator II

    In this position, you will assist with a wide range of IT operational duties such as Microsoft Active Directory management, VMware Virtual Machine deployment and configuration, Anti-Virus and security vulnerability activities, deploying virtual web servers, creating and maintaining DNS records and be fully immersed in day-to-day operational IT Services activities.

    Accounting Assistant

    Position Overview: 

    • The role of the Accounting Assistant is to assist the accountants and team leads with data entry, preparation of bank reconciliations, preparation of financial reporting packages and other tasks as required.
    • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
    • Verify and reconcile vendor statements, addressing discrepancies as needed.
    • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
    • Monitor and manage vendor relationships, resolving payment related inquiries.

    Helpdesk Technician

    ​POSITION OVERVIEW: 

    • Provide internal users software and hardware support for their workstations, as well as account management support. Help desk technician will also work supporting company server and hardware infrastructure, software for this hardware, and other various enterprise level software’s utilized by the business.
    • This position requires you to be in office full time - 08:30 - 17:00 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare & manage laptops and tablets.
    • Intune enrolment & preparation of hardware.
    • Troubleshooting hardware issues with laptops and tablets.
    • Troubleshooting software issues with laptops and tablets.
    • Acting as an account admin for various software products.

    KNOWLEDGE / BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience (or equivalent) in a Help Desk role, system administrator role, or a software support analyst.
    • Basic Windows OS experience including Microsoft and Apple operating systems.
    • Basic Networking knowledge.
    • Basic hardware knowledge including: laptops, desktops, servers, switches, and routers.
    • Basic knowledge of Active Directory.
    • Microsoft Office experience (Office 365 is a plus)
    • Knowledge of cabling and termination standards and experience working with Cat 5, Cat 5e and Cat 6 fibre terminations.
    • Experience with current Internet Technologies/ protocols (TCP/IP, XML, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, and Application Servers) a plus.
    • Solid methodical troubleshooting skills.
    • Customer Service experience.

    • Working level of Documentation Skills, document configurations, and project updates.
