    Finance Clerk

    Job Description

    • Here at BKB, we want to do things differently. We have to, because the world is changing, and we want to keep up. Our people, no matter their position, are the ones to do this, We are looking for forward thinkers who want to make a difference.
    • This is like a finance detective. We need somebody to do accurate receipt allocations, find lost payments, identify unknown payments, match transactions and do recons.
    • It is also the receipt of payments, prepare journal entries, ensure transaction are correctly processed by our banks and reconciliation of various bank accounts. There’s general admin stuff that needs to get done as well.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    We have to get serious for a bit. We need:

    • Grade 12 with an accounting degree / diploma.
    • We use Syspro, so Knowledge of this would be an added advantage.
    • 2 years relevant experience.
    • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

    SOFT SKILLS:

    • Patience with investigative skills.
    • Never giving up until the problem is resolved.
    • You need to get on with people and manage the relationships.
    • You will work independently but will be part of a Team.
    • You’ll be in finance, so speed and accuracy is very important; as is attention to detail.

    Senior Clerk: Logistics

    Job Description

    • Here at House of fibre, we want to do things differently. We have to, because the world is changing, and we always want to stay ahead. Our managers are the ones to lead this. We are looking for great a manger who is a forward thinker and who want to make a difference.
    • Responsible for monitoring, processing, and recording of shipments, including adhering to inventory operating procedures in a warehouse and dispatch environment.

    REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Grade 12
    • 2 years’ experience in a logistic environment of fibre
    • Certificate or diploma in logistics will be an advantage.
    • Proficient in relevant computer applications such as MS Word and Excel

    • Attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Proactive or sense of urgency
    • Able to work independently and within a team.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: 

    • Management of personnel
    • Management of inventory and operating procedures.  
    • Administrative tasks
    • Ensure bales are pack according to the wool standard.
    • Ensure shipping of fibre are according to shipping instructions.
    • Ensure that the correct contamination and fumigation procedures are followed.
