    Spec: Talent and Performance Management

    Core Description

    The overall goal is to design and implement leading practices in performance management, talent management, succession planning, and career management (with the use of assessments). This individual will execute these goals by collaborating with BCX leaders and HR colleagues to create and execute processes that address the needs of the organization and will develop skills, advance careers, drive diversity and enhance their contributions and value to BCX.

    Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

    Manage the Group Talent and Performance Management Strategy, Framework, Policy, Process including Succession and Psychometrics
    Develop & implement a comprehensive Career Management Strategy incorporating technical and leadership competencies and learning pathways
    Coordinate and facilitate Career Development Panels
    Provide technical expertise and support for all Talent and Performance Management (incl. psychometric assessment) initiatives
    Position, consult, collaborate with and educate the BUs on implementation of succession planning and leadership development processes to identify successors for key leadership & critical skill positions
    Configure, manage, educate and maintain the system component (Success Factors) of Talent and Performance Management practices
    Establish and manage divisional Talent Management Forums within BCX
    Analyse and report on performance and talent trends and recommend appropriate actions to inform talent decisions
    Function as talent and performance expert across BCX, staying up-to-date on trends within Talent and Performance Management, and contribute to best practices and key learnings to the business
    Manage the end-to-end delivery of assessment projects which includes (but not limited to) designing the project plan, requesting and managing resources, providing regular project status updates, delivering on the project with regards to time and budget, and maintaining project efficiencies

    Executive: Sales Account Management (Inland)

    Core Description

    Responsible to provide leadership and strategic direction of their respective portfolios in their respective verticals. Responsible for proactive hunting of new business and accounts in their respective vertical. Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers.

    Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

    • Formulate and implement strategic plans that accounts for current and future market forces and movements. This must include operational milestones that drive the company to achieve its strategic objectives.
    • Develop the vertical strategy and execute on account plans to ensure that revenue targets are achieved or exceeded.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through positioning BCX technologies and solutions which will deliver true value-add therefor enable them to gain a competitive advantage.
    • Act as a first point of contact for escalations where the respective sales employees are unable to resolve a critical customer issue. Responsible for the P&L for their respective portfolios.
    • Build strategic relationships at executive levels across BCX functions and external.
    • Develop and implement operational controls that drives the account to achieve objective surplus sales, profitability, resources; business goals and objectives.
    • Address complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s brand and reputation.
    • Ensure that financial management cost of sales and expenditure to achieve approved budget. Key accountability for profit and loss.
    • Responsible for Management, effectiveness and efficiency of all process between BCX and all accounts in the respective vertical.
    • Manage the annual budget and forecasts within strategic guidelines, directing and coordinating activities to achieve revenue achievement and cost containment targets
    • Foster a culture of accountability and manage by objectives. Build a high-performance team driven by customer orientation

    Qualifications Relevant Degree (NQF7) in IT/Business/Commerce or Engineering MBA will be an advantage Experience

    10 - 12 years’ experience, of which at least 5 years must at an Executive level. The experience must include relevant exposure to ICT and/or Sales Account Management and Key Account Management. Incumbent must have proven business acumen with experience in C-suite stakeholder engagement
