    Marketing Intern (Ciders and FABs)

    Purpose of the Position

    The purpose of the position is to give practical work experience to students who have successfully completed and obtained their qualification. The successful candidate will be expected to enter a 12-month contract commencing 01 February 2024 and terminating 31 January 2025.

    Key Learning Areas include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Business Administration
    • Project Management
    • Marketing Planning and Activations
    • Events & Sponsorships Management
    • Influencer marketing

    To qualify for selection and participation in this programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • Be in possession of a Marketing related tertiary qualification (diploma/degree).
    • Computer literacy – Microsoft Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Sound communication and presentation skills;
    • Effective time management;
    • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
    • Ability to work in a team
    • South African citizen;

    Prospective interns must submit the following:

    P&L Intern

    Purpose of the position:

    The intention is to give practical work experience to students who are in their final year of study and require exposure in awork environment and require practical work experience to obtain their qualification. Successful interns will be expected to enter a 12-month contract commencing 01 February 2024 and terminating on 31 January 2025.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers.
    • Achieve monthly sales targets through new business and upselling current customers.
    • Use data to inform customers’ understanding of which products can help them reach their goals and how to achieve this. 
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
    • Present products to customers in a professional and knowledgeable manner

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Numerical and business acumen experience
    • High levels of energy, persistence, drive as well as a sense of urgency.
    • The ability to work optimally in a high performance and competitive environment.
    • Ability to plan realistically and take action to deliver on time. 
    • Excellent negotiating skills to gain commitment to solutions by using your influencing and networking skills.

    Senior Technology Spec. (Process & Solutions)

    Purpose

    The purpose of the Senior Technology Specialist (Process and Solution) is to serve as the ICT interface with Functional Business Units, focusing on digital transformation, optimising processes, solution discovery, project management and relationship management.   

    Key Responsibilities

    • Advisor to Functional business units with regards to digital transformation and technology transformation  and as such key in digital transformation drive.
    • Detailed understanding of business function strategies and processes to provide new capabilities that will address transformation and optimisation requirements. Interaction with functional divisions to identify business process system support and improvement opportunities through the use of existing or new technologies.
    • Perform process and functional design to effectively support, optimise and transform business processes   and models
    • Post implementation reviews to confirm optimal enablement
    • Manage any process change requirements with the delivery teams
    • Assist ICT Enterprise Architect to design, develop and maintain an architectural view for relevant functions
    • Continuous assessment of existing systems, identifying weaknesses and opportunities to improve service delivery
    • Close interaction with the Architecture and Delivery teams to exploit agile release cycles
    • Participate in project prioritisation forums
    • Project Manage ICT-related projects in the assigned area of responsibility where not managed by central Scrum team.
    • Communicate ICT project progress to business functions and stakeholders
    • Closely work with D&A team to input analytics opportunities.
    • Document business processes based on Heineken standards
    • Research new technology and investigate the potential application thereof
    • Deep understanding existing standard and customised system configuration and development
    • Input into support strategies for solutions
    • Key participant in relevant solution vendor review and SLA interactions.

    Education and Experience

    • Relevant bachelor's degree backed by credible experience in information systems and technology management 
    • Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst and or Solution Architecture experience with preference given to FMCG and manufacturing experience.
    • Proven Tier 1 ERP and business intelligence experience
    • Proven Cloud application experience
    • Proven business process engineering and notation skills
    • Independent influencer with the ability to implement change
    • Exposure to Solution Architecture principles
    • Proven project management with a preference to Agile methodologies and change management skills
    • Excellent people and conflict management, leadership and facilitation skills
    • Very comfortable with fluent structures and reporting
    • Very strong analytical abilities
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills at all levels

    Lead: Engineering Control and Automation

    Purpose of the job

    • Lead the automation and control COE , administration and reporting to all stakeholders.  Stakeholders include, but are not limited to: Head of Engineering and Leads within the Engineering department
    • Ensure that all Supply Chain Sites have the necessary procedures in place to adhere to corporate policies regarding Instrumentation; Control; Software ;Standby Power Generation; Low voltage Power reticulation

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the Control and Automation community of practice in Quarterly workshops  
    • Custodian of Automation and Control Standards for the OPCO
    • Packaging machine Automation Upgrades / integrations
    • Brewing Process control activities and Upgrades
    • Factory Acceptance Test of Packaging equipment and Electrical distribution boards
    • Conduct High Speed packaging Line control Audits 
    • Manage Automation Upgrades of packaging machine in Central workshop
    • Standby Power – Diesel generation and UPS systems
    • Manage the electricity measurement portfolio
    • Technical advisory to Engineering and Packaging CoE,
    • Support Site Engineers and technicians with the implementation of standards
    • Capex Project Management – Drafting of RFI to implementation and handover
    • Information Systems – OPI / MES manufacturing 4.0. Architectural design
    • Be the link between production and the Information Technology department  – Site remote connections VPN
    • Leader of the PCD (process control domain)
    • Provide Technical Support on major automation breakdowns

    Job Requirements

    Education

    • Electrical or Electronic  B Engineering Degree / BSc Degree Minimum

    Experience

    • At least 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • FMCG, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks operations Experience.
    • Siemens Automation experience
    • Firm understanding of automation communication protocols
    • Demonstrated track record in multinational operations, engineering, manufacturing, and capital projects management leadership in an FMCG industry.
    • Project management, financial analysis, simulation, and consulting skills.
    • Proven leadership skills.
    • Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to manage own time and work on multiple projects in different lifecycle stages
    • PV power generation will beneficial
