    Project Manager - Durban

    Job Purpose
    Provides a project management service with respect to the execution and implementation of simple to high complexity type Architectural projects through the management of the process of analyzing, investigating, assessing and mapping out critical deliverables and costing frameworks, preparing and defending contractual terms or, resolving disputes and, providing information and advice on best practices to guide, enable and ensure key project milestones are accomplished in accordance with client objectives and capital budgeted frameworks

    • Prepares business plans to determine and present the sustainability of architectural
    • Manages developmental and project management processes associated within the scoping, resourcing, implementation, monitoring, and communication phases of simple to complex Architectural projects
    • Manages processes associated with the preparation of contracts and resolves conflicts and/or defends actions
    • Interacts internally and externally disseminating technical and professional information with recommendations, solutions and alternatives on current Architectural projects and completed works.

    • National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following fields: ( Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Civil). Building. Architecture)
    • Registration as a professional with the relevant statutory body (ECSA or SACQSP or SACAP)
    • Candidate registration as a Construction Project Manager with the South African Council for the Construction Project Management Professions within 6 months of employment
    • Valid motor vehicle driving license
    • 4 years Construction Project Management experience. 

    Preferred Requirements

    • 5 years Construction Project Management experience.

    Principal Clerk

    Job Purpose

    • Responsible for providing an efficient and effective registry service.

    Key Responsibility Areas

    •  Supervises and participates in the correct maintenance of the archives.
    •  Monitors and reviews performance within the section.
    •  Ensures that customer enquiries are handled timeously.
    •  Supervises the accurate recording and movement of files.
    •  Controls all internal and external mail received.
    •  Investigates enquiries received from internal and external customers.
    •  Ensures that all internal communications such as circulars, notices and advertisements are copied and distributed timeously to Clusters, Units or Departments.
    •  Orders and retains sufficient stock of stationery.

    Job Purpose

    • To devise and design computer system requirements for the solution of business problems and formulate procedure for the solution and participates and follows guidelines during the analysis, development, documentation, implementation and maintenance of computer systems.

    This post reports to SENIOR MANAGER (APPLICATIONS & MAINTENANCE)
