    Personal Assistant - Tshwane

    What will you do?

    • The suitable candidate will have an administrative background, with a passion to assist and support business and all related work.

    The route tasks include:

    • Photostat, scanning, printing, binding, filing and archiving.
    • Arranging of meetings, venues etc (including catering as needed).
    • Logging of all IS problems for staff members and co-ordination with IS department.
    • Stationery orders, toner orders etc.
    • Happy Birthday emails (prepare and send).
    • Prepare and update organogram for unit.
    • Dealing with unit project and general creditor invoices.
    • Capturing expense claims, KM claims and cash advances for TD’s and MTD.
    • Vendor registrations and management.
    • Travel bookings including international travel plans.
    • Project Governance support.
    • Completion of timesheets.
    • Support on debtor management system.
    • Manage schedules and diaries for MTD.
    • Maintain excellent relationships with external clients, internal clients as well as colleagues, including detailed contact information, bio’s, birthday dates and other relevant information.
    • Professionally manage and coordinate communications both internally and externally.
    • Develop and format documentation using appropriate software.
    • Support and stand in for other PA’s activities as and when required.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • You will need a relevant tertiary qualification (minimum of Grade 12 with relevant short courses training will be considered).
    • Minimum of 8 - 10 years administrative support experience, of which 3 years must be in support capacity to senior management level, with advance MS Office skills.
    • Must be highly proficient with MS Office.
    • Must have excellent time management skills,
    • English writing, organizational skills, communication skills and ability to multi-task as well as prioritize work requests from multiple senior managers.
    • High degree of integrity and confidentiality is required.
    • A valid driver’s license and own transport is also a requirement.

    Senior Railway Engineer - Tshwane

    Role Responsibilities

    • Be a member of the Railway Design Team working on exciting freight and passenger railway projects
    • Using your 10-15 years (minimum) of project and design experience as railway engineer including co-ordinating projects consisting of track, civil, overhead wiring and utility designers, in the delivery of designs prepared using Bentley OpenRail, MicroStation, Autodesk Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit software
    • Using your skills and experience as to operate as one of the technical advisors, mentoring of juniors, quality reviewer and senior within the railway engineering team.
    • Management of design package budgets and time against project costs and execution schedules, to ensure that deliverables are provided within the project time and budget constraints.
    • Review quality of work produced by designers and drafters under your management, prior to issuing deliverables to our clients.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of a MSc/MEng, BSc/BEng or BTech/MTech in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
    • At least 10-15 years’ experience as a Railway Engineer
    • Professionally registered with ECSA (Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech)

    Junior Fire Engineer

    • Attending to the full range of design aspects relating to rational fire designs
    • Reviewing site, construction, sprinkler, fire alarm, and all other system plans to ensure that they conform to the applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
    • Designing sprinkler systems, fire main installations, detection and alarm systems, smoke control systems, and other fire protection components.
    • Developing briefs seeking approval for code equivalency.

    Minimum requirements

    • BSc/BEng, or MSc/Meng, or BTech/MTech in Engineering
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Fire Engineer within an Engineering Consulting firm.
    • Experience gained in a consulting environment working on MEP Building Services
    • Great comprehension of BS, NFPA, and SANS Standards. (Desired)

    Senior Civil Engineer

    Role and Responsibilities  

    • Lead design team for municipal water and sewage infrastructure systems for hydraulic design and design development of pump stations, pipelines, reservoirs, stormwater, and related hydraulic structures. 
    • Key contributions to software models, technical drawings and details will be required. 
    • Produce key deliverables on projects, such as technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation. 
    • Lead and manage small, medium, and large integrated projects that also include interactions with clients and other consultants/ specialists. 
    • Collaborate across multiple technical and non-technical disciplines and international geographies.
    • Implement good project controls including, but not limited to, change management processes, decision register, manage review and verification of designs. 
    • Assist in preparing tenders and contribute to winning work initiatives. 
    • Construction management of small, medium, and integrated projects.

    Minimum Requirements  

    • BSc/B.Eng. Degree in Civil Engineering. 
    • Pr. Eng registration with ECSA.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience post Pr. Eng registration within Water environment.  
    • Experience on working on engineering and/or managing small to large integrated and multidisciplinary projects or at least large components thereof.   
    • Holistic understanding of water management and project related challenges applicable to water end users (e.g., in the mining, manufacturing, energy, agriculture and commercial industries) covering water uses, water resources, water balances, water storage, water conveyance and water demand management.
    • Must present leadership, effective scheduling, time management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (i.e., able to facilitate client and/or public meetings).
    • Must have experience in working with clients (private and government), other consultants and contractors.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Projects and an understanding of project risk and resource management. 
    • Basic understanding of projects at various stages of their lifecycle, from concept to commissioning (incl. risk management).
    • Construction project-related experience (minimum period of five years)
    • Registration as Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr. CPM) will be an advantage.
