    Creditors Clerk

    Job Description    

    RCL FOODS is on the hunt for x2 experienced Creditors Clerks to join our dynamic Accounts Payable team, based at our Pretoria West Mill

    The successful incumbents will report to the Creditors Controller and will maintain the records of every supplier (vendor) that enters into a transaction with the Business.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric with mathematics and accountancy
    • Relevant Tertiary qualification would be advantageous
    • 1 - 2 years Creditors clerk experience
    • Syspro experience would be advantageous

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Invoices and Credit Memo Processing
    • Oversee the matching of invoices / credit memo’s with Syspro receipts in the GRN account.
    • Oversee the checking of invoices / credit memo’s to ensure compliance with VAT legislation.
    • Verify supplier details on invoice match to Masterdata on Syspro.
    • Oversee the capturing of invoices / credit memo’s into the Syspro system.
    • Ensure invoice queries are logged onto the Sharepoint system and perform follow up for resolution
    • Investigate and resolve any differences between supplier statements, invoices and receipts and/or purchase orders.
    • Ensure supplier invoices and supplier statements are correctly collated.
    • Prepare creditors reconciliations monthly before payment runs and reconcile creditor statements to Accounts Payable trial balance and payment due.
    • Query Management Accountability for all queries logged on Sharepoint
    • Solve all creditor queries and liaise with the responsible individuals to ensure communication of the solution.
    • Follow up and resolve long outstanding queries on recon with suppliers.
    • Resolve queries identified by Creditor Administration Clerks and drive the process until queries are resolved.
    • GRN Management Perform monthly review of GRN balances for suppliers
    • Follow up on long outstanding balances for reversal
    • General and ad-hoc Administration File and safeguard records within area of responsibility.
    • Compile ad hoc spreadsheets and analysis when required.
    • Ad hoc requests from Controller and / or AP Accountant Information and Data management Ensure team members accurately and regularly capture data onto Syspro to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making.

    Millwright - Nelspruit

    Job Description    

    • RCL FOODS is seeking a Millwright to join our Baking Division. The role will be based in Nelspruit and report to the Maintenance Manager. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for ensuring that Plant Maintenance is done effectively and accurately in such a way to ensure the minimum downtime.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • N4 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering plus trade test
    • Minimum 5-10 years production line or FMCG maintenance experience
    • PLC/VSD Drives experience
    • Knowledge in mixers, dividers, proofers and conveyor systems
    • Oven burners and bakery equipment
    • Ability to communicate on all levels.
    • Ability to work systematically.
    • Ability to prioritize workload.

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not deteriorate.
    • Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists. Be able to comply with Food safety standards, and previous FMCG experience will be an advantage

    RCL FOODS is seeking to employ an experienced Area Sales Manager for our Vector Logistics Division to implement appropriate solutions in the form of value propositions to meet or exceed all sales goals, performance quotas and process expectations in the assigned area.

    RCL FOODS expects the suitable incumbent to provide tactical and operational management, supervision and support to the area sales team, immediately solve all operational, logistical and customer-related problems within the ambit of responsibility and identify and implement innovations, particularly those that will increase market share and the number and range of products being introduced into customers.

    The roles will be based in Roodepoort (Inland Gauteng) and will report to the Regional Sales Manager.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Degree in management, business administration and/or marketing.
    • Valid Code EB driver’s license.
    • Computer literacy (MS Office and SAP).
    • 3 to 5 years' experience in a marketing and sales function that includes coordinating sales teams and managing complex and/or significant customer relationships.

    Stores Supervisor

    Job Description

    The role will be required to manage the receiving, counting, safeguarding, issuing and disposal of stock items to and from the stores at the Speciality Spartan site. The successful candidate must ensure that functional, business requirements are met whilst adhering to health and safety rules at all times.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Diploma in related field or one year certificate in Warehouse Management
    • 3 years relevant experience in a stores or warehouse environment
    • SAP experience preferred

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Ensure that the receiving issuing and disposal of stores stock is undertaken in accordance with Group procedures at all times.
    • Ensure correct and timely capturing of delivery notes and SSR's by the store men.
    • Establish and manage systems to monitor stock and inventory in the store at all times including current stock levels.
    • Ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all times.
    • Plan and manage regular stock takes to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
    • Interact regularly with business stakeholders to implement optimal inventory levels to balance service levels and the inventory cost to the Group.
    • Plan and manage the periodic physical counting programme to satisfy internal control requirements.
    • Continuously improve processes to increase stores efficiency and reduce cost.
    • Provide a full report on all stock outs on a weekly basis and endeavour to reduce occurrences.
    • Manage slow moving stock to prevent excessive stock levels.
    • Ensure that no stock is booked out of the relevant store without the correct authority.
    • Investigate stock variances.
    • Motivate for BOM changes and conduct investigations in support of the motivation.
    • Develop and maintain store control documentation.
    • Manage the systems for safeguarding the stock in the stores at all times by ensuring that there are adequate security systems in place.
    • Ensure all material safety data sheets are maintained according to HACCP/ISO standards.
    • Coach and support team members where necessary to achieve individual and operational objectives.
