    Development Opportunity: Manager Protocols and Standards Cold Chain - (945)

    OVERVIEW  

    • The Manager Protocols and Standards: Cold Chain position is considered a critical role within the organization because of its high value and high uniqueness. The primary objective of this opportunity is to build capacity within the business to mitigate risk.  
    • The successful applicant will be given exposure to organizational strategy and implementation thereof, interdependencies of business processes and stakeholder management among other elements. 
    • The successful candidate will continue in their appointed role but will be job shadowing the Manager Protocols and Standards: Cold Chain on projects and/tasks. 

    Development Experience: 

    The development experience will offer the opportunity to shadow in the following aspects of the role:  

    • Processes and/ practices to ensure PPECB’s compliance to statutory mandate (PPEC Act) from a technical policy perspective  
    • Reporting: Internally, to DALRRD and other entities. 
    • Providing technical support to programmes and projects to support the business on cross functional imperatives and raise the level of institutional knowledge amongst peers. 
    • Stakeholder engagement through collaboration with main industry stakeholders  
    • providing leadership and guidance on intricate technical enquiries applicable to new and existing markets. 
    • Special Business Improvement Projects and initiation of operational projects necessary to streamline activities within the cold chain value stream and to enhance the efficacy of operational processes pertaining to mandate compliance. 
    • Maintaining the organisations status at a high level of accreditation and at the forefront on implementation of new market access requirements for all South African perishables produce. 
    • Management and achievement of operational programme objectives 
    • Management and compliance to Human Capital policies and procedures 
    • Risk management 
    • Management and compliance to Financial policies and procedures 
    • Administrative tasks and reporting related to the execution of services. 
    • Adherence to Service Level agreements. 

    Job Requirements

    The successful candidate is required to have the following qualifications and experience: 

    • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or 15 years relevant experience with a Leadership Development Programme  certificate  
    • at least 3 years in Management/ Supervisory/ Leadership role 

    Technical competencies: 

    • Knowledge, understanding and experience of all cold chain disciplines. 

    Interpersonal competencies and leadership potential: 

    • Strong self-development orientation and drive  
    • A history of strong, consistent work-performance   
    • Proven track record of taking ownership enabled by responsible and accountable behaviour 
    • Strong leadership orientation 
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills

    • Willingness to travel  
    • A valid code 08 driving license and own reliable vehicle

    Accounts Administrator - (949)

    Qualification / Education Required

    • Matric Certificate
    • Relevant IT or Accounting qualification or Certification
    • At least 1 - 2 years' experience as vendor / customer administrator.
    • Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced ICT environment
    • Knowledge of ICT Service Management practices

    Desirable Experience

    • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

    Responsibilities

    • Review documentation for validity before creation of Customer and Vendor accounts.
    • Creation of new customer accounts on NAV13 and D365 CE.
    • Creation of LAB & Training customer accounts on NAV13 and D365 CE.
    • Update LAB/Training/PPECB customer accounts e.g. Amending email addresses, contact details, VAT numbers, Banking details and name changes.
    • Creation of new Procurement vendor accounts on D365 F&O.
    • Update Vendor accounts e.g. Amending email addresses, contact details, VAT numbers, Banking details and name changes.
    • Review documentation for validity before creation of Customer and Vendor accounts.
