    Photographer Mr Price - Durban

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    We are searching for an energetic and people orientated Photographer who will thrive in our fast paced, time demanding, high-volume environment, to join our Style Shoot team. This individual will need have excellent communication and people skills. This is a junior role with your key objective being to shoot high quality images of our various products, to be used in our Ecommerce Store.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Shoot high quality images of our product with excellent detail and thereafter, upload and administration of images onto our in-house system
    •  Preparation of images through adobe software.
    •  Evaluation of, lighting, background, mood, dimensions and the set-up of sets
    •  Working closely with stylists and lead photographer to accomplish excellent and consistent photographic results
    •  Taking initiative within an energetic team environment

    QUALIFICATIONS

    •  Matric
    •  Relevant photography qualification
    •  1-2 years experience within commercial photography

    Support store management in the daily operations of a store to ensure that the overall objectives, store targets, and customer service standards are met & exceeded. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sales & Customer Experience Management:

    • Drive sales through the implementation of customer experience processes (through execution of business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, customer experience plan, visual standards & customer feedback, etc.) to meet customer service standards and achieve sales targets. This includes new account/membership targets.

    • Oversee the general maintenance of the stockroom to meet housekeeping standards.

    Risk Management:

    • Assist with compliance checks through defined processes (e.g. admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO reports, POS reports, health & safety standards, weekly hanger counts, security, etc.) to ensure and enforce overall compliance with policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12
    • 1-2 Years' experience in retail (supervisory experience advantageous).
    • Sales & service management.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Communication skills.
    • Business understanding of retail trade, brand, customer & product.

    Production Finished Artist Mr Price

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The purpose of this role is to develop 'print ready' artworks and layouts in accordance with the design brief for handover to suppliers to ensure high-quality outputs within the required timelines. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that all production deadlines are met, flagging any potential issues with production management and traffic
    • Receive existing designs and layouts and develop as print ready files that comply with printing standards to maintain a consistent colour standard across all countries.
    • Ensure that the creative vision and specific designs are translated into all required mediums such as windows, press packs, in store signage and catalogues from presentation to implementation ensuring the look is consistent.
    •  Communicate with creative team to ensure that final repro is correct and meets approved layout ensuring that there are no discrepancies from the approved design or artwork.
    • Provide feedback to the traffic team on a weekly/ daily basis in order for more campaigns to be trafficked through once work is complete.
    •  Archive and maintain all completed work on the server
    •  Attend meetings with suppliers when required
    • Provide direction to internal image retoucher to ensure the print quality is according to standard.
    • Communicate with printers on queries and facilitate resolution as needed on any come backs to complete the job.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree in Graphic design                                                              
    • 4-5 years’ experience in DTP \ Garphic Design role focusing on packaging, signage and printing                  
    • Adobe Creative Suite

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Stock Management:

    • Ensure that stock is accurately received & unpacked to merchandise and replenish the sales floor.

    • Conduct compliance checks through defined processes (e.g. admin checks, store audits, visual audits, COMO (Continuous Monitoring) reports, POS reports, health & safety standards, weekly hanger counts, security, etc.) to ensure and enforce overall compliance with policies and procedures.              

    Customer Experience Management:

    • Ensure and maintain the implementation of customer experience processes (through the execution of business instruction letters, markdowns, repricing, promotions, customer experience plans, visual standards, customer feedback, general housekeeping, etc.) to meet customer service standards.

    Leadership & Development:

    • Lead and drive the team within a store to achieve store KPIs and operational strategy in line with company values.
