    Outbound Controller (Bloemfontein)

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    The purpose of an Outbound Controller is to ensure efficient and accurate truck resource planning, loading operations, equipment management, pre-loading activities, truck staging, communication with IBT and retail teams, resolution of invoice corrections, visual performance management, stock monitoring, and effective team management. Their role is essential in facilitating smooth outbound operations, maximizing loading accuracy and stability, maintaining effective communication, and optimizing overall performance within the warehouse.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Ensuring accurate loading of products onto trucks by verifying the correct quantity, quality, and types of items based on shipping orders and customer requirements.
    •  Ensuring that loaded items are properly secured and arranged to maintain stability and prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
    •  Overseeing the inspection, maintenance, and availability of loading equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and loading ramps, to facilitate smooth loading operations.
    •  Ensure availability of loading consumables such as pallet wrap, cello-tape, seals.

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

    • The purpose of a Stock Clerk is to ensure accurate stock records by conducting random checks and reconciling stock movements, identifying discrepancies, investigating queries, and maintaining the integrity of stock information.

    •  Documenting and maintaining detailed records of the reconciliation process, including findings, resolutions, and any necessary adjustments or corrections made to ensure accurate and up-to-date stock records.
    •  Working closely with other teams, such as purchasing, warehouse operations, and finance, to address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to stock movements, ensuring alignment and accuracy across departments.

    •  Conducting stock recounts as necessary to validate and correct any discrepancies or inaccuracies identified during the reconciliation process, ensuring accurate stock records and inventory control.
    •  Identifying and rectifying any errors or inconsistencies in stock reconciliations, ensuring accurate alignment between physical stock counts and system records.

    Distribution Controller (Edenvale)
