    Job Advert Summary    

    • Clover has an opportunity for an HR Clerk to join their team on a part-time basis at the CDC Cape Town Branch. The successful candidate will be expected to provide support to the HR department 3 days per week. This role requires an individual with an HR qualification or a final year HR student, preferably located close to the Branch or alternately have their own reliable transport.     Planner: Supply - Roodepoort

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Clover is looking for an experienced Planner: Supply to plan production daily and or weekly for Clover & Principals through optimising the supply network and warehousing by ensuring stock levels in the Central Distribution Centre are at optimum stock levels and costs to service the Demand at minimum obsolete stock and to ensure timeous communication of foreseen stock problems, corrective action and when issue will be resolved. 
    • Space analysis and optimal production/route to market  to optimise the network are imperative to trigger sourcing of additional space and to communicate future requirements to warehousing, primary and production

    Requirements    

    • Degree in Supply Chain Management

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    Optimise Network & Principal/Import planning        

    • Optimise the supply network based on predetermined, most cost effective supply channel, factory, route               
    • Ensure timeous production plans are communicated to principals and Imported products considering all applicable constraints        
    • Define and revise buffer levels by determining risk of changes in demand or supply by sku/prod group to ensure target OFR% and product freshness      
    • Analyse the total supply chain function to ensure target OFR % are met and maintained        

    Channel ownership or Target Order fill rate in the supply network        

    • Identify and facilitate mitigating actions where OFR% deviations occurred in the supply chain and path way forward
    • Planning optimal stock levels for semi/finished goods as well as on Principal stock to ensure predefined customer service levels are on target.        
    • Take ownership of channel to ensure sufficient and optimal stock levels are maintained by ensuring constant and timeous communication with the deployment team regarding product group/sku priority        
    • Apply the constraints/factors of (long lead times, forecast accuracy, minimum order qty, whs constraints, shelf life, network constraints/design) in principal planning to ensure stocks are optimised with the best possible trade off solution  

    Optimise the supply network to ensure freshness of stock at optimal production/network/primary/costs        

    • Determine factors contributing to constant short dated stock in the supply channel, and the corrective action to reduce/avoid the constant obsolete stock        
    • Communicate potential short dated stock problems to the Demand team and ensure stock is moved to a location/s as require for additional sales to limit the short dated stock/write offs        
    • Ensure constant supply of a product group/sku's in the channel by timeous communication and request by means of add on orders placed on Principal if this should have an impact on supply

    S&OP Inputs and Reporting        

    • Ensure daily reporting at summary level of channel information (Obsolete stock, constraints, impact of supply disruption, potential supply problems) by monitoring, identifying and implementing corrective measures in the supply channel        
    • Dumps prevention - put measures in place to prevent and mitigate the problem        
    • Ensure monthly consolidated reporting of Channel information in summary format (Obsolete stock, supply disruption and impact on OFR%, channel costs and potential savings)        

    Facilitate the IBP process within the supply planning team        

    • Ensure transactional data timings        
    • Act as link between the Planning development team and the Supply planning team
    • Monitor and take responsibility of masters, updating of masters data
