    Sales Manager - Cape Town

    Description

    • To effectively manage, develop and control the sales function by achieving and increasing sales targets above budgeted targets, GP budgets and growing sales in the professional segment. Must be able to build a dynamic and motivated sales team through training, coaching and mentoring and spending time making joint calls with Sales Reps to maximise sales. Providing efficient technical and professional service to customers with the ultimate aim of achieving company profitability and objectives, and in line with acceptable corporate governance standards. In addition, the Sales Manager will exceed their own individual budgeted sales targets as well as provide market intelligence based on competitive products and market opportunities that are encountered during field sales activities.

    Requirements

    • Assist sales reps in developing business plans that will ensure sales targets are achieved and needs are being met.

    HR Officer - Durban

    Recruitment

    • Guide and advise hiring managers on job definition and analysis, recruitment strategies, selection process and job offers
    • Lead recruitment processes including conducting thorough screening of applicants, interviewing of candidates and recommending short-list of 3 top candidates to hiring managers
    • Ensure that all employee positions have up-to-date position descriptions, and that all employees are provided same
    • Coordinate the advertisement of new positions and ensure that hiring that takes place is aligned to the Employment Equity Plan. 
    • Perform all administrative functions linked to recruitment
    • Ensure a recruitment status and tracking report is kept up to date

    Payroll Administration

    • Perform payroll administrative functions such as gathering payroll input, verifying VIP payroll reports and finalising payroll

    Employee Relations

    • Ensure that recommendations for merit increases, salary increments, promotions, reclassifications, demotions, etc. are captured in a timely manner, and are made in accordance with established policies and procedures
    • Assist in supporting all line managers through training and all necessary support in implementing Performance Management

    Exit Management

    • Coordinate and assist in scheduling and conducting employee exit interviews
    • Ensure all administration and execution is administered with all facets of employees separation
    • Ensure that all company assets are returned and check lists completed and signed off
    • Compile quarterly reports and statistics on resignations

    Learning, Training and Development

    • Co-ordinate, compile and submit the annual Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report in line with SETA requirements
    • Ensure Training Registers are kept and evaluations of training effectiveness
    • Compile monthly Training Report
    • Compile and keep up to date a Skills Matrix for all positions
    • Record and keep up to date all documents and certificates in the HR filing system as well as on Sage 300

    Employment Equity

    • Ensure the equitable representation of suitably qualified employees from designated groups in occupational categories and levels within the Company and according to the Employment Equity Plan
