    Handyman (Groundskeeper) - VKB Properties, Head Office Reitz

    Job Description

    • The Handyman (Groundskeeper) is responsible for the overall upkeep & maintenance of VKB's properties in Reitz & surrounding areas. Someone with technical background and incline will thrive in this role.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12/ NQF4
    • 2 - 3 years' experience in the upkeep/ maintenance of buildings and corporate spaces.
    • Technical ability and proven experience therein.
    • Ability to work well in a team & accept responsibility.
    • Valid Driver's licence. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure that maintenance schedule is adhered to when it comes to drain systems, roofing, gutters, ablution facilities, cabinets and office furniture.
    • Ensure that the buildings ablution facilities are serviced daily & never left without supplies.
    • Together with other maintenance personnel, assist employees when offices need to be moved or adjusted.
    • Ensure that generators are fueled and water tanks have sufficient water levels on a daily basis.
