    Syrup Room Attendant

    Job Description    

    Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in the Process Support Department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for an Syrup Room Attendant role, which is based in Elgin. The successful candidate will report directly to the Team Leader in Elgin.

    KEY PURPOSE

    To assist with manufacture final syrups and RTD products as per KORE and MEC Requirements and according to the Production Plan and to perform Cleaning and sanitations.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Mixing of final syrups and ready to drink products in accordance with KORE and MEC Requirements and the Master Mixing Instructions.

    Senior Lab Quality Assurance Technician

    Job Description

    To manage and maintain compliance to Quality and Food Safety systems in the relevant plant to ensure Product Quality from receipt of raw materials to final product production

    The role involves supervision and engagement with the Quality Assurance Technician, Team Leaders, Unit Mangers, Senior Site Management, Machine operators and shop-floor personnel and also all across the manufacturing supply chain (team leaders engineering technicians and contractors).

    Job Description    

    The primary purpose of this role is to provide accurate, relevant, timeous and insightful analytical financial information that enhances financial awareness and enables appropriate business decision making.

    Digital Solutions Manager: Logistics, Execution and Warehousing

    Job Description    

    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for a Digital Solutions Manager: LEW. This is a senior position in Digital Platforms team in the Information Technology department in CCBA. Their specific focus is on route planning, finished goods warehousing and distribution and effective delivery of all digital solutions for the logistics and warehousing function in CCBA.

    The successful applicant will report into the Senior Manager Digital Platforms: SCM, LEW and Procurement.

    The Digital Solutions Manager: LEW, is responsible for the recommendation, development, and deployment of all digital solutions for the logistics, execution and warehousing function in CCBA. Digital solutions include all systems and applications that are bought and configured or developed for the functions involved in logistics and warehousing in CCBA.

    These employees own the process for delivering all new application capability for their functional area as new solutions or new functionality for existing applications. They oversee a team of resources and a grouping of contractors, vendors and service providers that work on a variety of projects that form the programme of projects for the functional area.

    The Digital Solution Manager: LEW uncovers and receives business requirements from their stakeholders in business and they ensure that these requests are analyzed and translated into relevant designs. They mandate and contribute to the architecting of the digital solutions landscape for their focus area. When the proposed architectures have been approved, they collaborate with members of their teams to research and find the best fit solutions for business requirements. They will then take responsibility for mandating an outsourced team with the definition, building, testing and deployment of the new solutions.

    As the manager for a digital solutions team, they are responsible for appointing and managing a team of architects, analysts, and solution support employees. They also perform the work of planning and management for all team activities.

    They act as liaison between the IT department and the business functional area, and they keep both business stakeholders and IT colleagues and leaders up to date through various reports and meetings.

    Incumbents in this position should preferably be based in South Africa, but the service they provide will cover the CCBA enterprise in its broadest definition including all locations in Africa.

    • Planning the resourcing of the pipeline of projects and initiatives by allocating internal and external resources and/or vendors against projects
    • Ensuring the continuous development and growth of members of the Digital Solutions (LEW) team by ensuring that training, learning, and mentoring are planned and available
    • Managing team members and meeting with them regularly to contract their required performance, coaching them, and providing feedback on their progress and managing Individual Development Programmes
    • Regularly engaging with business stakeholders and analysts to understand the business requirements, budgets, and timelines
    • Collaborating with the relevant architects to plan and architect digital solutions

    • Ensuring the correct policies and procedures are followed and that all vendor contracts meet corporate governance requirements

    Materials Planner Lead

    Job Description    

    Generates the medium term (3-18 months) tactical raw materials plan, to ensure the correct quantity of materials are available to meet production demand while aligning to business strategy and the ever-changing environment.

    The extent of the role’s involvement in supervision and other team leadership activities

    The role has a Materials Planner reporting into it.

    Level of interaction within and outside of the company as well as the nature and purpose of the interaction. 

    The Material Planner Lead liaises with Stock Managers, Supply Managers and Planners to manage raw material or containers, to ensure that sufficient material is available to deliver to production demand at the least cost, which includes the balancing of the grid between plants.
    The role engages with suppliers as required in relation to the combined portfolios of materials the individual is responsible for and is the first point of contact for raw material supply related discussions, for specific suppliers.
    Will engage all Supply Chain functions to continuously find better ways to manage and control raw materials including recommendations received from Materials Planners.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Compile medium term (3 to 18 months) tactical raw material plans and submit to Procurement in order to secure supply.
    • Review and agree tactical stock holding parameters per plant with the Plant Supply Manager and Finance to ensure optimal raw material inventory levels and replenishment
    • Support the Raw Materials Supply Managers in generating the budget and profit forecast for working capital targets, as required.
    • Support the manufacturing and technical team in relation to projects involving raw materials.
    • Provide guidance and monitor supplier and plant safety stock levels, by raw material as stipulated in relevant Service Level Agreements (SLAs), to proactively mitigate supply risk.
    • Effectively manage and resolve raw material inventory queries, issues and risks.
    • Consolidate and analyse data in relation to commodities, accountable for, to ensure the accurate recording of data, the appropriate allocation in terms of SLAs and to proactively mitigate potential risk in relation to supply.
    • Meet with Suppliers weekly and monthly to communicate and discuss the operational forecast, addressing volume, timing, new product and promotion introductions, as well as supply issues using the agreed Sales and Operations (S&OP) meeting format and agenda.
    • Review communicated requirements for imported raw materials and monitor the shipping schedule and Estimated Time of Arrivals (ETAs) to ensure that raw material inventory levels are maintained at agreed levels and escalate possible supply risks to Raw Materials Supply Planning Manager.
    • Implement and roll out business continuity plans to mitigate any potential risk or risk in relation to raw material supply.
    • The optimal management and coordination of run-out plans for discontinued products and promotional material to mitigate the financial risk to the business.
    • Where applicable ensure the effective management of containers and raw material inventory levels held by Third Parties to enable the optimal balancing of the supply grid.
    • Where applicable manage RACM inventory audits at Third Party warehouse to ensure compliance to relevant policies and procedures.
    • The effective management of allocated team, to allow for the achievement of set goals, an engaged team and high-quality work output.
    • Judgement and decision making

    The role operates under stringent rules, procedures and policies- governance and legal compliance is essential.
    The role has to comply with relevant daily, weekly and monthly routines and deadlines. The role is however required to apply judgement in discerning priorities and matters that require escalation and ensure that output is still delivered at the end of the day.

    Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Integrated Data Specialist, to join the CCBA Growth Office team. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Group Lead: Big Data & Analytics.

    The role will contribute to CCBA vision by supporting centrally the evaluation, procurement, and management of CCBA data suppliers and being the link between markets as well as internal and external suppliers in the new information requirements or adjustments needed to ensure optimal value contributions to the business.     Key Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Lead the integration of various sources of business information to derive meaningful insights that enable robust decision making in all CCBA markets.
    • Managing centrally the connection with KO and CCBA suppliers of data, research and insights (e.g., BI, Nielsen, GFK, iRED, MacMobile, Frontline and other relevant agencies) ensuring service levels agreements are met, auditing the integrity of information, problem solving and translating business market requirements.
    • Understanding market context plans and trends to proactively identify new requirements of information or analysis for Group or countries.
