    Channel Manager: STB Retail

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE

    You are accountable to develop, communicate & implement a channel specific Customer strategy which is aligned to the business strategy that optimises the returns for organization. You are also responsible for developing and leading the customer plans that support the channel plans.  Delivery of the Sales targets and profit objects.     Category Manager: CAPEX

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    You are responsible for developing and executing a Group Category sourcing strategy for your respective category that will deliver best procurement value and mitigate supply risks. You will establish a distinctive competency and understanding of the category characteristics, Tiger Brands’ business needs and the prevailing market dynamics. You manage a team of commodity managers and sourcing specialists to ensure your category team delivers the strategy whilst ensuring a healthy relationship with the business and suppliers. As Category Manager you will manage a category spend of R 5bn+

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for the formulation of the long-term  Group Category strategy and planning that provides an operating framework for the category team.
    • Oversee and evolve the category team’s commodity sourcing strategies by factoring fundamentals, macro-economic, supply market developments and changes in business priorities.
    • Ensure that sourcing strategies safeguard supply through contingencies and supply alternatives.
    • Oversee major strategic sourcing projects that deliver total cost of ownership savings by either leading cross functional sourcing teams or guiding commodity managers
    • Ensure that the category’s supply market intelligence, value chain and cost models are accurate and oversee the provision of budgetary input and quarterly cost forecasts to business.
    • Apply supply management principles that build collaborative relationships with suppliers, and business.

    IT Applications Director

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • The Application Delivery Director is accountable for the mission critical applications used by Tiger Brands and includes ERP (Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HCM and CRM pillars), Business Intelligence / Analytics / Data Warehouse, B2B EDI system and other applications.
    • This Director is responsible for the long term strategy of these applications (including upgrades as needed), execution of the committed portfolio of IT projects through functional and technical design, configuration, development, testing and implementation.
    • The Director is responsible for deploying new applications and solutions that have been prioritised by the business.
    • The Director is also responsible for daily application support activities ensuring that the organisation can effectively use the pool of applications to deliver on strategic and operational targets.
    • Lead, plan, direct and control all activities related to functional analysts and developers competencies; resource management; change and release management, quality and test management.
    • Ensures a formal set of application development methodologies, principles, standards and processes are in place and adhered to with a focus on more agile ways of working.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support CIO by delivering the committed portfolio of IT projects on time, to scope and  within budget and within agreed constraints
    • Support the organisation by ensuring that all relevant applications are available per SLA

    Sourcing Analyst

    The Job at a Glance

    • You will support the Procurement Organization through gathering and analysing sourcing category market data and benchmarking reports. 
    • You are responsible for provision of research and trend analysis to the strategic sourcing team.
